I think those (almost) photo realistic cars look really weird on that background with its low textures and poor detail. Still, very cool looking (showroom) cars.

Also, I'm just realizing how that Alfa's front end looks like an Enzo grew bug eyes. And why aren't these cars in the list I wonder.

Enough of the car models already, just a month away and very little direct feed gameplay. Not exactly inspiring confidence. I would love to see more cockpit vids as that seems to be where this game really shines.

Those pix look amazing. I don't see anything "low-res" about the backgrounds (which are most-likely photo-sourced or at least all HDR textured) and the lighting looks as good as any car commercial you probably didn't realize was fully rendered.

Will the "game" look exactly like that? Maybe... They haven't shown the Autovista mode in videos yet.

Either way, looks awesome and I give props to the hard working team.

In-game as "during race" it's far from this, dude. At least from what was shown.

Just stating facts. I never said anything about it looking cartoony. Forza 5 looks pretty decent, in motion as well. The showroom shots look great, amazing actually.

I think we all know the gameplay (racing) won't look like that. The real question is if the showroom will even look like that! There's been plenty of doctored, bullshots coming out recently, and this may just be another case.

I have forza 4 and much of it looks pretty good as it was, the only reason why forza 5 looks similar to 4 is the racing camera used. forza has it's 3rd person cam at a distant; and can make car detail look simple at times. people need to understand this.

other than that 5 looks like an obvious step up.

Thats just bs that you are going on everytime about forza 5 and the pic you got just wow dude seriously I found this video just for you. and notice this cam recorded watch 13:43 in game, same level of detail when zoomed in. how do you expect to see that much detail from zoomed out back cam in a racing game??

Still not liking the tire textures, but the cars are looking pretty good. Not seeing the low res textures Female Tengu was talking about. Background looks fine to me. And the lighting seems to be a little better than last I saw, though it's still not completely there (IMO). The GTR is my favorite so far. Hopefully the final product will be as good or better.

Also, waiting for more direct feed. Preferably something to compare to Driveclub's video with the A8.

Well geez u don't need to get butt hurt over my OPINION that the lighting of the game looks unrealistic. If you like it then great. I'm happy for you. I for one, however, think that it doesn't look very natural at all. And I think that the modeling is about as good as I've seen in a driving game(project cars notwithstanding. I'm talking games that have a release somewhere in sight.).

I saw the event live through eurogamer though the live feed was extremely bad in terms of lag thats why eurogamer took it down from youtube. But when I saw it on there. The pagani during corners and when zoomed in on, beyond doubt looks almost the same with the autovista mode blew my mind away. We have to see a video feed probably in a few weeks time or maybe later when the games out to see the real quality versus the video feed of drive club but from the off screen gamersyde coverage of forza 5 so far i'm more than convinced the game will be great. Sorry about the cam video I posted lol
