Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

Lost Planet 3 latest trailer shows ice and ice only but with the oppressive heat around here it's quite welcomed.

Wow, is the game so bad, that they don't wanna show anything from the actual campaign besides the tutorial level? The last trailer already was bland, just like this one.

RAWR! Internet rage!

You OWE ME a bog-standard game-clip infested trailer, cut to dubstep / hip-hop / butt-rock-metal / insert trendy music here!

RAWR!

All "joking" aside; that trailer was kind of cool. Especially considering, at this point we know what the game is and can see mountains of footage of it across the internet.

I see that trailer playing well in movie theaters or DVD releases. But clearly gamers just want quick-cut gameplay clips.

Who said they wanted quick cut anything, set to any sort of music. Just some decent gameplay footage from various points of the game would be nice. This is going to bomb though, and i doubt it wil be undeserved. It should ram it home that capcom need to stop outsourcing shit franchises to shit developers. We've had enough already.

There are perhaps hours of footage in various on-cam, off-cam, trailers and screenshots of this game out there, you could almost write it off as having played it already. The last trailer was nearly 5 minutes long.

I really don't think we need anything more than semi-interesting reminder that the game is coming out.

Exactly!
Hell, there's even like 50mins of gameplay footage out there!

I just think people like to bitch.

And as for "shit developers". Nice. Judge much?
Hell, thinking that company names are more important than the people that come and go is just as naive as blindly assuming "great companies" remain constant (Capcom).

I'd wait to see how things turn out before shitting on a bunch of hard-working people.

I'll be sure to return to eat crow if I'm wrong. But i know i won't have to. Sorry if i don't have your blind faith in a developer who's given us such greats as turning point and legendary...lol. As for the capcom example. They've never been consistent enough to be considered "great", not now, and not the past either. Imo of course.

They sure are hard-working people but project of such scope is definitely out of their league.
It seems that the biggest issue lies within CAPCOM's "new" strategy outlined after profits took a big hit last fiscal year:
Instead of releasing just a few key titles each year, increase the number games released, cut down the development time and limit the sizes of teams to 100 employees.
Considering latest Devil May Cry and Resident Evil, quality of Lost Planet 3 should not come as a surprise for anybody.
