Game still looks like a gem though.
i think it was a great video, can't wait to create some kickass levels, i have tons of ideas already.
Ok the sackboy thing was cute before but now it's starting to drag. that was one hell of a boring video.
That video would have been absolute gold if they had got David Attenborough to do the voice in the video. Unfortunately, it lacked charm like the previous videos we've seen.

But that is always unfortunate, and very common really. I think it's going to end up a much more satisfying overall package thanks to the extra dev time, but it would've been nice if it could've come out back when the love for these little guys was at its peak.
However, although this is all true and stuff and I see the sentiment, I gotta take time out to pour buckets of praise on top of Sony's heads for the likes of this and Loco Roco. Charm is so hard to come by these days, and there's seemingly no point in trying to keep it alive. Having a title like this, this high profile, be least of all about death and pain and guns is just downright admirable.
Sackboy IS on the way to potentially becoming an icon unheard of since the 16 bit era, and that makes up for the prolonged PR state of LPB in my book.
And then you'll get people who just won't take to the character anyway, but that's kind of expected.
It's starting to drag because for better or worse, they're taking forever to finish the game. In hindsight, revealing it seemingly "in full" so early, it has sort of outstayed it's welcome a bit at this point.

Games shouldn't be announced or previewed more than 6 months before release IMO.
As for the vid - I liked the content. Much more actual gameplay shown that other vids. Obviously Attenborough would have been preferable to a poor Steve Irwin impersonator but there you go. Nice to see the 75% behind sackboy view featuring in play - and also the football game at the end looks to have some new concepts in it too. Scoreboard in the background and goals to put the ball in.
that's exactly what I thought when I was watching it. Attenborough would have made this video awesome :)
First time they've shown time of day in LBP, which is a cool feature, and obviously they showed a lot of new environment / enemy concepts in this video for the first time.
Does anyone know if this game has offline multiplayer and if so, how does it work?
