The Gears of War 2 hype machine is finally starting with this first "Viddoc" where the developers of the game explain us in details how they went one step further when it came to sound design in the game.
despite not really feeling the first game, im actually looking forward to this just to see how the story pans out. im hoping its as good as they're saying this time around.

I know what you mean. Unlike a lot of people, I am actually buying Gears of War 2 primarily for the campaign.
Since Gears was my first 360 game, oh so long ago, I'm itching for more campaign. The evolved gaming on all levels is icing on the cake.
Now I just HOPE & PRAY for a better online experience. Online play as it is now or was on Gears 1 angered me the last run through. Glitches, their users & horrible patches and Epic's NAZI Gears Forum, um sorry Cliffy Shrine, Moderators, aka The Personal Opinion Gestapo, burned me out to the point that I almost gave up on online gaming... Oh and I will always bitch about how ridiculous the 10K seriously achievement is/was. Yeah after going over 10K I glitched back and got it the crappy way as I felt cheated.
Fingers are crossed this time but not holding my breath.

As a orchestra (movie/game OSTs) only listener, nice that Steve Jablonsky is doing the OST...hopefully it's good.
He did The Island and Transformers and I didn't like the Island that much, but there are a few Transformer tracks i like.
