The Just Cause 2 demo finally hit Xbox Live this morning, and it was also released on PSN and Steam a little while ago. Here is a few gameplay sequences extracted from the 30 minute demo, which will show you how good the game looks, with very nice graphics and lighting effects, along with a almost-always-consistent framerate. Not everything is perfect gameplay-wise, aiming being a bit difficult at first, but nothing you cannot eventually get used to. Sure, you will have to do with a somehow tacky atmosphere, but if you're in to sandbox games where you can just let your imagination go crazy, then stop looking, this is just what you need. Let's hope the retail version can confirm all the fun there seems to be.

Only problem i have with it (the 360 version), theres no brightness adjust in the game options.. you have to mess with your tv settings, and it's just a touch too dark on my tv. I hate it when games don't come with those options.. bad company 1 was the same.. i'm not messing with my tv for one game when i have it perfect for everything else.

I love this types of games and this looks fantastic I just want a good solid impression of what its like the game to control,can you say the weapons feels right and that stuff.
Commented on 2010-03-04 20:30:55I'd say it's one of those games you could just mindlessly pick up and play and have fun with..and, importantly, probably get some memorable moments out of.
I wouldnt count on the story being deep, or the combat not getting stale.. but it's fun to play, framerates rock solid in the demo, and it looks great. AI still stands around waiting to be shot..but you've alot more options, and freedom, on how you can take them out.

excellent engine, brilliant sound, good A.I, like someone said its a good game to just chill too.
love the grapple hook and the double hook thing where you can attach it to a enemy and something else of your choosing lol.
great demo to give people just a taster of the full game.....i actually cant belive this game aint gettin more buzz tbh
