Blue Side reveals today new screens and a new trailer for Kingdom Under Fire II that shows off each class in action. The game is being developed for PC and consoles but has no release date yet. A closed beta is slated for the end of 2011 in Korea.

I can say the same about the whole Soul Calibur franchise and its girls. Most girls/characters there are definitely not equipped to fight someone with giant swords, katanas. Only exception is Hilde.

Sex sells, that's all.

The screens are amazing (pic 30). The level of detail, compared to the scenery on the screen is insane. Cant wait for the KuFII. Loved the first two games.

It's funny to me that these sorts of silly comments almost always come from GUYS. Actual women (fatties excluded) are no more offended by this than a dude watching a ripped, half-naked Kratos beheading people. Speaking of which - sex bad, violence gooood! >_> (and I hate that smiley but my eyes are rolling so hard right now)

Back on topic, this game looks awesome, like every other KUF, and I can bet my life it will still suck just as bad. The games are incredibly mindless and boring considering the subject matter

effects are amazing. the POMotion-Blur, God Rays, everything looks awesome... but most of this tech that looked amazing 3 years ago is becoming common and the game less impressive by default.

I think it´s not about "Sex bad, violence good", it is about the way women are often shown in videogames, both physically and the way they behave. Often a female characters are so full of stereotypes, that it´s embarassing and also annoying for a male gamer with an IQ > 80...

Btw: When I was saying it looks more than a he, I was referring to the video and haven´t looked at the screens ;)

Don't really care about misoginy or such but it looks fucking ridiculous. Who thinks that is sexy or cool? I mean aside from Raptor who would fap to crudely drawn tits in MS paint. It's about suspension of belief. Gems glued to nipples and golden thongs breaks it for me, and i image i'm not the only one that feels that way. You can make a character interestng and even sexy without making it retarded. Admittedly that is more of a challenge than just flashing tits.

I'm all for good, engaging gameplay. I just don't see why games can't be serious as well. I've been gaming for a lon time and i just find that i'm getting more and more bored with these shallow testosterone fueled romps. For every attempt to make a game that actually stands out or tries to have a message or just tries a different angle there are 200 brainless shooters with hollow characters and tits to make up for it. I don't think you have anything to wory about.

Im seeing less and less crazy games out there, only Japan has crazy enough devs to try and do this kind of stuff, take Itagaki and Kamiya for example of that, realistic serious stuff will be boring if we only get that.

I get what you are saying, I too enjoy some seriousness from time to time in games but I do want too crazy over the top tits and ass everywhere in my games too :P
