Genki has put up the official website for Kengo Zero, revealing a September release date for Japan. Hopefully it's enough time to polish the graphics some more. Here are some images from the site. Update: Images from Famitsu website added.
My opinion is that it looks very average...A nice way of convinsing the japanese market of the quility the 360 has to offer is to have a game that is already anounced for PS3 and it looks amazing ..and then bring it out on Xbox 360 too! Only blue dragon and Lost Odessey have made us say : Holy Sh**!!The rest of the japanese games till now is what you say..Yeah there ok "BUT" PS3 has this and that! Like what happened with Ridge Racer! Even Trusty Bell hasnt got that picture yet that will really make you say! Oh my god! That looks so next-gen! Bullet Witch is starting to look very solid though! The rest is like Xbox 1.5 ...
This is one of the few cases where I would buy this game and not care much for the graphics, Bushido Blade for psx was that good that I don't care if there's no HDR, normal mapping 4x AA as long as the game plays well
Newsflash: Japanese gamers don't care about graphics. They buy games based on gameplay, not graphics. So basically they are the opposite of western gamers who buy games that have good graphiz and sw33t bump mapping.

Well I certainly have played some popular Japanese titles with terrible gameplay mechanics. And saying that Japanese gamers don't care about graphics is just not true.
What you meant to say was, "Japanese Gamers Don't Care About IN-GAME Graphics"
Japanese gamers LOVE graphics, hours and hours of it actually in the form of FMV cut scenes. Something western gamers like myself really don't care to have to sit through anymore.
And there are many Western gamers who demand good game play mechanics. So don't generalize Western and Japanese gamers.
looks like ps1-ps2. It reminds me of Bushido Blade. That was a really good game, I wish they would make a newer sequel, it was the only free-roaming type fighting game I've ever played.
I honestly do not see how anyone can currently make any calls on the visual quality of this game. Don't get me wrong, I am not attempting to defend the game. It's just that these photos are smaller than a gnats ass, who can actually see any of the graphical detail (or lack of, if that is the case) in a screenshot so damned small?!

I don't think it looks very good personally but as with most games gameplay is where it's at.
