Although it was released in North America quite a while back, Inversion is only available in Europe as of this week. Some will say we haven't been missing much and it is true somehow. Saber Interactive's game is indeed a poor copy of several titles, Gears of War being the most obvious of the bunch. The gravity gimmick is not used at its full potential and the shooting mechanics are way behind Epic's series. Story isn't that interesting either, despite the twist which happens at some point in the course of the game. All things considered, the ending is a bit original for a video game, but the very last image after the credits partly ruins it for the sake of a potential sequel. That being said, the game being cheap (40€), it could still keep you entertained for a little while this summer.
