Page 1 2 >>Is the demo in the japanese marketplace or is a "private" demo just for inside Xbox?
Ugh... I'm afraid if I let out my true feelings it'll start a flame war =P
I'm just looking for one AAA jRPG experience to really get me back in the groove. There are a lot of potential gems surfacing in the genre this year, and with tri-Ace's background as being one of the best in the business, I am really hoping this game turns out to be real gold.
So far, judging by the video, it seems to be heading in the right direction. With luck we will see a playable demo show up on LIVE during E3 - that would really make my day.
Maybe Tales of Vesperia escapes the need for the second disc, like Eternal Sonata did.
Mucho Hours of content, that's how I see it.
i cant remember 4 sure but didnt tri ace say that this game uses only 1disk
actually they assured everyone it would be on multiple discs.
Ontopic:THis game looks really nice, I love how his hair and clothing flows a bit instead of being all static like in some RPG's. I know itis all about the storyline and adventure, but I can't tell much from that from just a single demo ;).
whats the betting that atleast one review will say "a game that should remain undiscovered". Especially if that demo's anything to go by.. very uninspired, which is a shame as i really want a jrpg with reat time combat.
I think you are jumping the gun here, or perhaps you just wana hate on the game anyways, I duno, I would reserve judgement until you have played the demo yourself personally.
Why is everyone assuming the cutscenes are unvoiced? This was a stage demo, so maybe the guy muted them so he could talk better. The lips even move at the part when they're no sound, so it has to be voiced.
I can only hope.
They just gotta fix the framerate, if there are any issues with it. More multi-disc rpgs please :D
Because in other parts of the demo he talks over the voices, I agree that it seems odd that the characters mime the text
This game is going to be amazing. That scene is early so clearly it wont showcase the best aspects, but I've already seen better from the game.

Odd a few people have mentioned frame rate and i didn't notice it once whislt i watched it a good 10 times. >.>
I really don't see everybody's problem with multiple discs or not. I mean, won't we see that when the game comes out and it isn't like Blu Ray doesn't have it's drawbacks, with installing games.

I agree. Ive seen nothing proving this game is worth my time or money. The 1st trailer looked nice, but after the cg trailer, nothing looked good. The textures, the models, the animation.... nothing has caught my interest other than a new rpg. Im taking a solid crap on this one...without the flush. Let it remind us of those who's gone before us!
