I hate to say it but it actually looks pretty cool.

The second XBLA game I've ever considered buying (first was that anime girl schmup).

Ouch. I love Penny-Arcade but 1500 points for an episodic series does seem a bit high.

Really? N+ is pretty good.

Considering its probably more of a game then most other XBLA games, the price tag might be justified....

Well, it's 1600 points. I guess that news just made it worse.

But I'm very interested in it. Didn't know it was going to be episodic, but I can't see myself paying that much for a series of 3-6 games, or who knows. 800 pts and I'd be along for the ride. The demo better wow me and knock my socks off for $20 though.

from the videos, this game looks so boring, and at $20, theyve got to be kidding, theyve just alienated alot of users from buying this by setting it that high

Each episode will last between 6-8 hours and has far more depth than any XBLA game (Symphony of the Night excluded), XBLA is just the means of delivery. If you like this style of game it will be more than worth it, if you don't, well...it doesn't really matter how much it costs because you wouldn't buy it any way so there really is no reason to bitch.

Looks nice enough and i LOVE penny arcade, so i'll most certainly get this one...for the PC. Probably both cheaper and better for me that way.

I enjoy Penny Arcade, especially the "news" section... but i'll only buy a game if it's good.

If the game actually has driven gameplay for 6 to 8 hours, i don't see how 20 bucks is particularly expensive. How long was gears of war? You gladly payed 50 bucks for that on the release day.

I'm pretty confident in the quality of this title, as i think that Mike and Jerry wouldn't want to release a piece of crap with their name on it. I trust that they aim to make a fun game rather than a quick buck. But then again, i'm also a huge fan. I've been reading PA since some time around 01 or 02.

It's the episodic thing that had me worried, but if the claims of 8-10 hours of gameplay are actually true then it does seem like a pretty fair deal.

I'm a huge PA fan, but everything I've see of this has looked pretty weak. And 20 bucks?!

I'll stick with N+. It turned out to be a great game to play with like 4 people passing the controller after every death/level.

$20 isn't bad if its 8-10 hrs per episode, unless you have to pay all over again each episode. Is it one big payment or do you pay repeatedly?

Uhm, each episode will prolly be sold separately. I don't think hothead is some sort of charity organization that runs on happy ;)

This does look pretty good! I like a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Also the game mechanics look intesting to me. Does thsi play like Jagged Allience? It looks turn based, but not random encounters... I like.

I guess I'll wait and see how long it actually is before I throw down on the Mastercard.

I love their comic but this has about 0% interest to me.
But that's ok, they very clearly made the game that they wanted to make, so hopefully some people will buy it.
