EA has released these images, which you may have seen before, from the Xbox 360 version of NHL 07. As a comparison, added are also some images from the Xbox and PSP versions.
well, i think its more of a testement to the orginal xbox that it looks this good on the old 'block', and that games this far into the lifecycle of the original xbox just looks way better than the first wave of titles. Just imagine what games will look like 2 or 3 years from now on the xbox360.
I'm not dissing the Xbox360 version in anyways, though as it looks great i must say.
It's about frickin time an NHL game started looking good. The 360 version has MUCH, MUCH better lighting, textures, ice, everything. The increase in the polygon counts are enough to merit the upgrade, but the other stuff makes it look really good. If they added motion blur and stuff it would be even nicer.
Like all Xbox screenshot, actuall screen about 8xFSAA and AF to the top but actual game are using 0 of both and finish looking atrocious because of that. That's actually why i sold my Xbox back then, CE that output false advertising.
On 360 it's a lot less worse since most 360 games have 4xFSAA anyway...
