its only had 2 reviews so far, one was 60% the other 80%...but considering freedom fighters only got about an 80% average despite being amazing, kinda shows how reviews mean naff all. i mean, assassins creed has been very split in its reviews and i wouldnt consider that a bad game by any means.
graphically, yes this looks kinda crap. but that wouldnt be why i'd be buying it.
This game is a joke. No Co-Op via XBOX Live?!?!?! I thought that was what this game was built on, I feel totally misled. The only Co-Op is through split screen? Did I accidentally time travel 10 years into the past when split screen was cool?

no, you time traveled back to when multiplayer was a social, human contact affair...unlike now where its impersonal, and distant. welcome to the age of online gaming....i hate it.

Sure it is. I suppose games are still just for kids and are all derivatives of Pac-man as well?
Despite the graphics, this game's pretty fun and the writing/storyline is pretty good. Worth a rental. It's more a single player game than a co-op one thats for sure.

I don't know about you but my friends aren't exactly interested in coming around to my house to play on one of my consoles.
The answer is online play where you can have fun and test your skills.
Nintendo are the only ones that still think people would rather play in person than have an online mode.

the online side of consople gaming has killed the fun, social side. now its all about the whiney kid singing at the top of his voice, the agressive fucker who never shuts up, or even better, voice masking, oh joy. i see why so many people love it so.
As much as I think it's a great topic, here isn't really the place for it so I'd encourage anyone with an interest in discussing the merits of offline multiplayer vs online to start a forum topic
As a closing comment though, I don't view online gaming as killing the fun social side of things, in fact the opposite. Now that I'm older and I've friends with jobs, mortgages, wives, kids even! It's much harder to get together so the online connectivity enables that. That doesn't mean we still can't bundle round someone's house and play a few games of Pro Evo after a trip to the pub.
Online gaming has it's own issues as Korndog points out but the proliferation of party games; remember Scene-It came out this week hardly means offline MP is dead.
