We found the E3 gameplay demo of Horizon: Zero Dawn with a slightly better bitrate than the one we shared back in June. So, to anyone interested in that, jump inside. For tech enthusiasts and others you can also take a look at the game's real-time volumetric cloudscapes here.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

One of my most anticipated titles of 2016.
The primary offenders I can think of right now are this, Tomb Raider, and to a lesser extent, Batman. I've also heard that the Witcher does this quite a bit as well.
It's not a deal breaker for me though, worst comes to worst, I'll just mute her.
Tomb raider is like drake. Another good example imo. It's used as a mean to direct the players attention without an obnoxious arrow above your head. "Maybe i need to climb that wreckage" it's character thought in most cases. And in the case of drake, whitty remarks about his surroundings. Tomb raider misses the mark a bit because she's a whiney little bitch and falls back to moaning far too often.
This however....well it just does it wrong. It's relaying redundant information to the player. Stuff you're doing, or have just done. Some of it is fine, like directing your attention to weak points. But it's too relentless. It's a barrage of incessant yapping. It's annoying for a completely different reason to lara and her whining. It's equivalent to someone talking to you while you're trying to watch a movie. Just shut up already.
On the plus side. I hear it was just for demo purposes.
Oh, and this games volumetric clouds are fucking ridiculously good looking.
Graphics look hit and miss but that is what this dev is like with all their games, shadow fall had fantastic looking sections but those that were inside buildings looked crap and so did the ingame characters and textures on trees etc
In this trailer the city sections before they were destroyed look pretty dyre but the plants and trees further into the trailer (in the future) look great.

Gameplay complaints i can accept. But graphics are the one thing they do amazingly, it's still one of the best looking titles this gen and it's a launch title. Lol.

As for the graphics, it looks great but nothing mind blowing. Shadow fall looked great most of the time but it's outdoor areas looked a bit muddled at times. But in terms of basic narrative and gameplay mechanics GG has always struggled, basically making pretty games with not much substance. I'm worried this will be the same thing again.

This Horizon looks good reminds me of Heavenly Sword meets TLOU
Technically for the times i actually think Killzone 2 was better than Shadow Fall.
