Images Xbox 360

Microsoft has just sent us three new images of Halo 3 ODST presenting three multiplayer maps which will be available on the disc. You'll all agree that they look unsurprisingly very Halo-like but at least one of them seems to be a classic from the previous games.

Second screen is Midship from Halo 2 if I'm not mistaking. Looks decent enough. By now we all know it's not going to be the best looking game.

Why do these look like traditional MP maps? I thought there was no traditional MP, only horde.

Hell fuckn yay, Midship is the best map Bungie have ever done, hope they didn't screw it up like Lockout...

btw: It's only Midship that is a remake, the other two are new.

Cause they are. These are the 3 new maps for Halo 3 that'll be released together with ODST.

So we can pay extra for maps that we already paid for in Halo 3--and Halo 2! ;)

And also, fuck yea, Midship rules!

We're going to be sold the same sH!!t for the forth time. I don't know about you guys, but I'm pissed off with Bungie more now than I was initially with the release of Halo3. It took me months to get over the big let down that Halo3 was. You would think that after the brilliance of the Call of Duty games that Bungie would have swallowed thier ego and realized that everybody's doing FPSs better than they are. To make things worst, I just recently decided to dust off my Halo3 game and enjoy some multiplayer matches to pass time. What to my surprise to discover that after several attempts to join in a multiplayer match, I see the message 'One or more players do not have the maps to play this session'. At first I thought that Xbox Live was having technical problems, so I decided to wait it out until later. I signed in again, and I see the same message. Ok, now I'm really pissed. It turns out that I was required to download two map packs. I laughed at first thinking to myself; how could I have missed this. So I went to the downloadable content page and began to download the maps and the maps were 800 and 600 microsoft points respectively. Almost every playlist from ranked to social required the maps; and it was mandatory that I had to download those maps and pay for them if I was going to enjoy matchmaking outside of a custom game. Talk about receiving the finger from a company that received so much fan support. I paid $59.99 for Halo3. I pay for Xbox Live to enjoy multiplayer gaming. Now the bastards at Bungie want to milk the cow and sell the meet as livestock as if they haven't racked in enough money for Halo3. I still have a 'what the f--k attitude?' about this matter. I was playing matchmaking for free aside from my Xbox Live subscription, and those bastards decided that it would be a good idea to find a way to charge customers to make more money off of the rip off that was Halo3. If I sound pissed off, so be it. I'm sure someone knows how to start a petition.

"You would think that after the brilliance of the Call of Duty games"
"brilliance"? Every year a new game with minor updates and no support? COD game are nothing more than big jokes. The last good COD was COD4.
W@W is just trash and Modern Warfare 2 ist nothing more than just an uninspired Add-On. Releasing a second map pack for W@W just before the release of modern warfare 2....ironic and pure proof that IW and Treyarch fucking with the COD fans. Maps, completely taken out of the campaign and so on.

The first map pack for Halo 3 is free. The "Cold storage" Map is free. The Heroic Map Pack only costs 600MP and the other one 800 MP. That's fair if you ask me ;) And there are playlists where you only need the free packs. And at least I got FORGEABLE maps for the same price, for example Sandbox, Forge etc. So the fun is not over, even if you already know every little spot from the maps.

WTF Omega?? Every few months when any Halo news comes out you have to come on and post your same boring lame arguments against Halo. NOBODY CARES!!!!!!!!! Stop "dusting off" your Halo games, sell them, and buy something else that you actually enjoy so we can stop listening to your whining. And don't exaggerate so much about the matchmaking. I haven't payed for a single map pack and still enjoy it just fine.
