Here is a gameplay video for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. The game's campaign will be the same story as Halo: Combat Evolved, with the addition of achievements, terminals, and online Co-op.
Looking forward to seeing what other new features they are going to announce. Not sure if I'll buy or just rent the game, but a play through this game online co-op w/ my brother is a must. This is the game we stayed up night after night playing co-op when it first came out. I've never before and never since put so many hours into a single player game.
For it's time, Halo CE was certainly nothing short of a masterpiece. It took console gaming to a new level in many ways.
To be honest, I dont think you can complain about the price when this much work has been done to rework the graphics. the Classic mode thing is amazing to have too, what a genius idea. I have to say, it seems the Halo franchise is indeed in very good hands.
How can someone complain about the price when you get 7 brand new maps for Halo Reach (and not just a disc with all the existing maps, like ODST did). I mean, c'mon.

Maybe because people enjoy fun games. Is that so hard to imagine? I'm sure there are people that don't like your favorite game. But Halo just gets so much hate because it's popular.

the switching between the old engine and new is very cool. The price, and the fact that its a retail and not xbla title is abit of a joke.. the only positive from it being that it will no doubt fall in price much faster than it would've if it was on xbla... so probably pick it up then

Well, We could all have Halo:CE Original Engine multiplayer maps with its own infrastructure and matchmaking. The only reason thats not happening is beacuse MS doesn't want to manage another Halo online game to rise from this. i bet all fans would prefer that way.
