Looks very nice, but what was that strange thing attacking one of the ODST? :S It's in the first Mombassa screenshot aswell, with the Brutes holding it.That review was a fake ;) There's an embargo until the 19th.

Anyway, I won't bother with any review, if it gets 10s then good for them. I'm excited about the campaign and firefight. Also I'll try to get myself into Halo 3 MP again, BR is a bit rusty...

its a shame that all halo screen shots will be bs.. even though they are taken in game. Halo 3 did this unique thing of upscaling the resolution of the screens you took in game.. i imagine this will be the same

Wow... in motion it actually looks pretty damned good. The motion blur and things like that when you turn really smooth out the overall look versus seeing the game in screen shots. Looks really solid in my opinion. Plus, Halo has always been about those "Holy crap!" moments, so I'm sure there will be some cool stuff in this game. I'm guessing that it may be a GOOD thing that people have anticipated this game to be pretty "Meh..." because for ONCE the hype isn't too high for a Halo game. Maybe people will actually walk away impressed.

Look at GTPSP, now thats a antecipated game thats pretty crappy. people tought it would be good because it has a GT tag and normally is synonymous with quality. But, no game made in their spare time and with little effort turns out good, even it its backed by a strong franchise name. But this, it clearly started out small and has grown up into quite a big project, anyone thats been following the vidocs see its a real effort and a labour of love (how cliché) from Devs that listen to fans complaints and demands.

I like the halo series. Online gameplay was pretty "meh" for me. But i really think that the halo series needs to hang it's hat up because really there isn't a whole lot changed from every other halo's

FIFA Street 3, NBA Homecourt, Virtua Tennis 3 and Sacred 2 are native 1080p on the XBox 360, verified by the pixel counters at Beyond3D

So because the 360 dashboard is running in 720p upscaled to 1080p automatically confirms that the 360 is officially incapable of display native 1080p? lol :D

all the screenshots are PRE-RENDERED using the in-game engine.

thats what i say upscaling, and may i ask why isn't any of my 12 360 exclusive games 1080p native? and a crappy game like "Virtual tennis" can be 1080p? no logic there, every thing is upscaling on the 360.

i don't see any problem with the 720p, but 360 fanboys here act like someone insulted their mother or something, get a life, especially nostradamus.

360 is ofcourse capable of 1080p.. theres already games out that have 1080p as their native resolution to prove such - virtua tennis is the obvious that comes to mind.

infact i'm pretty sure the 360's got more 1080p games than the ps3 (which if you want to be all fanboyish gets denied 720p at the best of times.. let alone 1080p)

Its not like the majority of people have 1080p tv's anyway.. so its a worthless payoff for the sacrifices needed.

Anyway.. ODST is actually looking better than i orginally gave it credit for.. very clean.
And i agree when they say it will probably leave you wanting more.. as it will probably only have 5hours worth of campaign in there
