Codemasters just sent us this great new video of GRID: Autosport showing the Del Jarama track with some open wheelers action. And just like last time with the annoucement trailer, this is the only place where you'll get to see this in all its 1080p and 60 fps glory!

Looks great. I really like the DOF effect on the nose cam, little things like this always add to the immersion. Just a big disappointment for me that this isnt heading to X1 or PS4 but im sure Codies will have something up their sleeve for this gen.

Its very strange that they won't bring it to the current gen consoles too. I know they said they are busy working on their "next gen" racing engine too but it wouldn't hurt to get to grips with the PS4 and XB1 now. Also, sales of this will be broken up by the fact that there are a lot of people out there, mostly the mainstream, that have this thing where they won't even turn on their PS3s and Xbox 360s anymore.

I'am a big fan from the GRID titles but this graphic gameplay is rly bad......Looks like the GRID game before. And then the physics, slipping with a formel car?!....lol....I see nothing that say to me; buy and play this game. Looks like a controller fun game for kids. So i stay by PCARS. Sadly, nose cam was the only highlight in this video. As for the rest: More of the same i guess (and more of the same awful lighting filters), i'd be surprised if this would contrast strongly from it's predecessor in terms of fun. First GRiD is still great though. Anyone else thinks 1st one looks better or is it just me ?

Better to dedicate resources to the new engine, rather than split them into porting the old engine whilst also working on the new.

Plus the user base of the X360/PS3/PC is still huge, and it takes many years for the mainstream to make the switch to a new generation of consoles.

Game looks awful in chase cam...I was thinking wtf is this...

However when it changed to cockpit and the couple of cams before it changed my mind and it looked half decent. Cant see it pulling me away from F5 though.

I think this is another Codemasters racing game without in game music, I hope there's music similar to Forza 4 or Ridge Racer Unbounded, I'm one of the people who don't buy a racing game if there's no good music.

Grid was never about simulation but about fun driving and making it as accessible as possible so anyone could play it, who cares about graphics as there is nothing more that can be gained out of the last gen console, if this comes out priced around £35 on the consoles and £30 on the PC i don't see any reason why it won't sell, is everyone broke all of a sudden that they can only afford a few games a year.

i like instant access racing games where i don't have to spend all afternoon tweaking the suspension, gear ratio's and aerodynamics just to get 1.5 seconds off my lap times, look at the picture again, saying good bye is just naive.

In games like Motorstorm Apocalypse, Forza 4, RR Unbounded, Split Second etc.. the music is optional, if you hate music you can turn it off, some of us don't like sound effects only at all, it's boring, that's why I didn't buy Grid 2.

in this modern age you could have simply played your own music in the background, i don't see music not playing while you play being a good enough reason not to buy a game!

I don't like playing my own music on a game at all, I like new original music from talented composers that is suitable for the game, like in the games I mentioned, and if there's no music I don't buy the game, that's why I buy Japanese games more because western devs don't care for music, some games only sound effects and some with generic music, music is an after thought for them.
