After releasing a demo that wasn't really one according to some, Polyphony is back with this video of Gran Turismo 5 presenting the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. A lot more impressive, as usual with the trailers of the game.

Whether it is better than "the other game" i'm not too concerned, but I have little doubt it will be a very good game. my biggest concern is that PD won't get the online part right. I'm really curious to see how well they do on the rally part of the game, that could be amazing if done right.
Sure GT5 has a load more of cars and Rallye and stuff and bluff, but if a racing game as multi-faceted as Forza bored you quickly then this is simply not the genre of your preference I guess...
Anyways, modelling more than 1000 cars with such detail is massively time-consuming I reckon, thats why I fear that other features came too short.
Lets wait, hope, see & judge.

Too bad those fanboyz' moaning & shit won't affect the game's quality even one bit, they just waste their time.
I'm always impressed with GT5 graphics, but that's all PD seem to be bothered about advertising, I want to see the 'actual' game playing!! But isn't this always the case.
What's worse is some companies don't even release gameplay footage in a more appropriate setting( like on internet sites). I remember back before the playstation 2, the commercials showed darn game. The advent of incredible CG has up the ante I guess. Talk about misrepresentation.
Anyway, back on topic- Does it really matter if this is better or worse than Forza? Both games are gonna be quality, and if you dig the genre, you win...
Try not to argue with your allies else the big scary black guy come out of the shadows and steal yo cah!
One things for sure... it's definatly coming out this year...maybe
Worst part is when fucking fanboys talk about how much better this game is and looks then Forza 3. You haven't barely SEEN the game. v.v
And as for the argument between the games, when you are talking about sim games like this, its a viable argument. It's different with like, FPS's and the like, because the goal is objective. A sim game is made to recreate reality. bonus points for those who make a game more accessable, have a better HUD, online component, etc. In terms of what you get, it seems like Forza puts a lot more out there. It doesn't just make a sim, it goes the extra mile to make it playable by the average joe as well, and does it was style and adds great persistence. As for what GT is bringing to the table, we have yet to see so much attention to the players, or such a complete package. Yes, it will be great, but I think they need to realize they ARE competing against a VERY high quality game with lots of great stuff going for it.
This will be best racing game I have no doubt. Now body can make cars like these guys. But no game is perfect and GT will also have some flaws. GS has 5 little videos from ces. Looks like sounds have improved too :D The great Mclaren F1 is also confirmed.
According to GTplanet and guys with PS official Magazine:
