Page 1 2 >>Ah well, Blim thx alot, gonna add this to my video section on PS3.
PS. Great trailer, very intense and epic!
The motion blur adds a lot to how the game looks. I'm not entirely impressed with the environments though.
I downloaded the full ~980MB video this comes from off PSN, so boring, a lot of talk, the prerendered MS2 trailer, and no actual R2 footage!
It looks like KZ1 gameplay without the framerate problems.
The environments look boring as well.
If I'm going to play a mediocre FPS this gen, I rather make it HAZE.

Sony folks need to pay more attention on the gameplay portions they include in their trailers. This is definetly not the best footage of the game. We've seen better in gamersyde videos.
COD4ish shooting? Check
Gear/R6 ish cover system? Check
Pretty Visuals? Check
Grey Palette? Check
Destructible objects? Check.
Gear/R6 are a 3rd person cover system, which this game doesn't have, which I also find probably the best cover system that's come about this generation thanks to Gears
Grey Palette... this is probably the most questionable complaint everyone gives to war based games now. Last generation you would have never seen colors representing any genre. Color palette adds to any game, and this generation has seen companies taking that step. Grey palettes are fine
Destructible objects... we don't even know if this is true and probably won't be anything near the destructible tech Epic showed off
I think what this game will suffer from most, is coming out after Gears of War 2. Just like the first one.
Realistically G2 will be a technology powerhouse (in innovation), and this game is gonna feel far behind by the time it gets here
PS3 is starting to come into its own. Just sad it had a little bit of a slow start.
This site is a fucking joke how people's opinions are hidden like this. It's his opinion if this game looks like shit. Why hide it? Ban me!
I'll also say that I'll always hold against this game that they BS'ed us with that E3 trailer all those years ago, it was really dirty.
COD4 didn't invent that style of shooting, it's been around for years

This is the only game apart from Gran Turismo 5 this generation that looks CGI-like when even running and controlled(not in the cut-scene I mean). Gears of War's cutscenes looked really CGI like but runtime was not, very pretty but not CG like. The main reason was the excessive use of depth-of-field in Gears' cutscenes which was absent from the gameplay. In KZ2, that finesse is present throughout and it shows...
