The Nurburgring is certainly the most famous racing track in the world, and without a doubt a must have for any self respecting racing game, so here it is, this time in Gran Turismo 5! Almost a full lap, in 2 parts and of course at 60 fps.
Loakum @Driftwood Awesome! I’m loving it! It does show a much crisper picture and the frame rate looks good! I was playing Stella Blade and Dragonball Soarkling Blast! :) (2 Weeks ago)

BTW, my personal "KUDOS" to the Driver in this video. I know how crazy it is to control these cars, that too on the "Ring", doing it so well and almost making it to the 1st position after spinning out. Is more than impressive. :) No matter what 'physics' he was driving in.
It still drove me crazy when they pushed me off the track though. :p
what AI difficulty were you playing at that the shit AI still drives in a predetermined line and ignores the cars around it? This was my number one gripe about the GT series and if this is STILL a problem in GT5 i'm going to be so pissed.
I have no idea how or why this issue would not be fixed after such a crazy amount of time in development.
Physics and AI >>>>>>> pretty lighting and little details
Anyway, I wanted so see some weather and nigh races and I didn't get either. The smoke looks great from outside, from inside the car not so much, it shows ugly edges on the dashboard. The AI was plain stupid on standard settings (which is not an excuse anyway). Low velocity physics felt off. I played on professional setting for anyone who wants to know. You couldn't really hear all the sound with that background noise, but the V8 was way too high pitched... it didn't sound like a V8 at all.
Really, I have the feeling this game has been given the wrong priorities. To build a good game you need a strong foundation and not as many features as possible. Jack of all trades, master of none comes to mind. Well not entirely correct, the car models do look excellent.
