Video PS3

Gran Turismo 5 is playable at the Gamescom, limited to only one track though. Here is a first video, not too great but still watchable. We'll do a proper 60 fps later, promised!

Well it's very, very pretty, as per usual. But there's no sense of speed at all. And is it safe to assume that all those smashes into the wall did no damage to the car at all? /sigh

gt4 with interior view? very undramatic interior view at that, no motion, seems boring as hell. if your doing 100mph+ you wanna feel like your doing that speed. pfftt bring on nfs shift and forza 3

Looks pretty nice and will most likely be a nice complement to Forza 3 when it comes out!

Lighting looks a lot better. GT4 with interior? WTF.

Also there is damage in the demo, if you view the other monitor on the left at the 0:48 mark the guy crashes and the bumper gets damaged.

I dont like what i see.

The Game looks same as GT5 prologue, extremely boring - low sense of Speed and with the same AA issues.

Not impressed.

Looks incredible ..miless better than forza 3 ...haha cant believe that some are comparing ultrarealistic GT5 to Forza3 --an unknown game . GT5 will outsell Forza 3 based on 1st day eu sales. also the lighting is just wow
This is forza3 HAHA

Looks ok i guess, that cockpit lighting looked hideous, the shadowing was an absolute mess, but the rest of it looks as you expect it to look. Definately not the be all and end all of sim racers though.
Nice to finally see damage, the door swingin on its hinge is a nice touch.

massively underwhelming. interiors dont look so hot. sense of speed is still lacking, and the AI appears to be on rails as per norm. Obviously cant judge the new physics from a video, but the whole thing just looks sterile. :o(

Damn that was boring, it still lacks the same sense of speed as GT5P and the graphics are still unimpressive, very identical to GT5P, maybe a it better raction from the car when it contacts the wall.

No im not, i have GT5P and im not impressed sorry, the only good looking thing in this game are the cars, environments are crap, very empty and sterile.

Taken from offscreen, that looks great allready.. i can't wait to see direct feed of some longer races though.. pitstops, tire wear, fuel loss, and then we have a deal.

For now.. looking good.

Looks mighty fine to me!..

Not the best quality video, so it's hard to be critical, although I really appreciate BlimBlim getting on the case so quickly, and I'm sure better will follow..

The door opening damage in the booth to the left just around 54-58 seconds shows that at least on the Subaru Rally car, the damage model looks sweet!

Lightning is great, but this seriously looks like slo......w mow...

and it also does not look realistic. I cant really make out what it is, but one thing is that the shadows are way to sharp...
