Looking good. Should be interesting to see what changes they have made to this year's version.

looking good? like it will ever look like that.

Its going to be the same tired engine with the same issues that have been present in all fifa games. People complain about the over use of the UE3 engine.. next gen i'm looking forward to finally seeing a new engine for this franchise

I really hope they can fix the button delay this time round. Lost count of amount of times i've pressed pass only for it to pass to my desired player and then that player to pass the ball randomly down the field, or off the pitch.

Looks good; lighting looks a lot more subtle and realistic. I'm interested in seeing what new additions will be there this year.

I still play FIFA 11 practically every day, so I'll be buying this no doubt.

Lighting looks great, but NOT for a football game.
It is too shady as if 3 out of 4 floodlights were broken.
EA allways puts too much 'Hollywood' into their FIFA gfx.

P.S. Grass looks too fine. Almost hair-like.

I just want a more fast-paced gameplay. EA slowed it down in FIFA 11, don't know why.

I actually want it slower. Or, at the very least, they need to adjust it so that the middle of park doesn't get so easily congested.

Yeah the game needs slowed down as it's still far too fast!

This may seem silly but throw ins need to be worked on somehow. I hate how all games transition into another screen where the players are placed in set positions. There needs to be a smooth throw in gameplay mechanic that doesn't shift players and break up the flow of the game.

I hope they do more to create a better atmosphere in the stadium. Stewards walking, more flags, subs warming up (not all the time of course), trainer out of the bench giving directions to players, camera's actually following players, photographers changing place behind the ad-boards, camera behind the goals that actually move, and the list goes on.. These are little adjustments which could make a lot of difference.

The pace of the game is in my point of view almost perfect. Just a tad too fast in my opinion. I always change the pace of the game to slow anyway.

What I would love to see are piece of the pitch tore apart after a sliding tackle,.. I can keep going on but the things I listed first would make a lot of difference in my point of view and would make the game more playable for a longer period. Cause at this point, I haven't touched my FIFA 11 for a couple of months already.

I expect a huge improvement in terms of quality, FIFA11 felt like a Beta.

FIFA 12 will be a "revolution" apparently - especially in the gameplay department. Big words, which has me very intrigued.

FIFA 11 was one of the most unpolished games I played last year, but it was also probably the best. At the very least, it's by far the one game I've played more than any other - I play it more or less every day.

Yeah... you could say that about any sequel/installment though? That if the one after it didn't exist, you'd still be playing the one before. Silly logic son.

Whenever I play a new FIFA (from 09 onwards), I'm playing a better game than the one before it. Can't really ask for more than that; I get my money's worth.

You want it slower, really ? There should be a balance, and I think the game is pretty slow already. To the passing game it's okay, but to be relying on the wingers' speed of play I think it's slow. Especially to me, I play mostly on counter-attack

The general pace of the game is reasonably quick already, but I agree that wingers need to be given more of an advantage. More importantly, strength needs to play much less of a significant role; it's too easy to nudge someone off the ball in FIFA 11.

Pitches need to be made to look bigger as well.

I'm saying quality always loses out to quantity with these games.. you said yourself it was one of the "most unpolished games" you played. Your statement that you played it more than any other game holds no value to its quality when you would of gladly been playing the previous edition in its place had fifa11 not hit - that was the point kid.

Kid? lol

Polish doesn't necessarily equal quality, especially if the fundamentals of the game do boast quality; FIFA 11 does and is most certainly a better game than FIFA 10, just like 10 was a better game than 09. So no, quality doesn't lose out because, overall, it's a better experience (in my opinion, of course)

Like I said, as long as I'm getting a better game I'm fine paying full price because it's worth it.

Totally right, I have seen it happen enough times that my mates cleared the ball to reset everything for his team. Lame lol but not the biggest of problems :) Love FIFA 11 and will love 12 even more no doubt.
