Atari has unleashed Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit in both the European and American markets on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and here are the First 10 Minutes from the Xbox 360 version. The first battles of the game are playable in the demo, and we put online videos of it earlier.
I'm neither a Dragon Ball Z fan or a fighting game expert, but I've still been enjoying the time I've put on the game. Each fight in the campaign mode starts off with a short conversation between the fighters, then you fight, and it's finished off with another short conversation. This seems to be how the whole single-player mode works, and I guess it's as simple as could be expected from a fighting game.
I played as Gohan in the demo videos, so I chose in the video below to show a couple of other guys from the game. Goku is no doubt my favourite fighter so far, as he at least in the beginning has the coolest and most fun attacks. I chose to show fights where you play as Nappa, a big guy who is all about muscles and close combat attacks. You don't get to pick a character before each fight though as each "episode" simply lets you take control of a pre-decided character.
Guys don't buy this game... I've buyed this game on day one, and I can say it is the worst DBZ game from the times of DBLegend and DBGT Final Bout on PSX.... AI really stupid, graphic good to see, but full of holes... gameplay sick... I'm really disappointed, I would love this game, but is really the big disappointment of the year... Much Much Much Better DBZ Budokai 3 or DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2/3 on PS2!
I was also tempted in by the graphics and the fond memories of this series when I was young. Sadly this game doesn't deliver.
It's essentially a step back to Budokai 1 on the PS2, although remove the great cut scenes from that with the poor one's from this, which are ruined by the lack of atmosphere and faded black bar used whenever subs appear.
If these DBZ games are to continue, they need to get a new developer of board as the two used for the Budokai and Tenkaichi series have clearly taken the idea as far as they can go.

I suppose the story adds a little to the game, a bit different from the usual free for all.
The graphics are beautiful, looks pretty similar to the actual anime.
