Namco Bandai has released a bunch of images for Enslaved as well as a trailer, the whole dedicated to the mechas enemies of the game. Don't forget that a demo is available on the PSN.
didnt like it, thought it looked pretty bad, performed like crap with some major screen tearing and framerate problems, but my main issue is that is played like crap.
despite the fact the situation you're in is a cinematic one, it felt very bleh. what should have been exciting and intense was instead a by the number experience that came across as incredibly boring. it felt like a game trying and failing to be like uncharted. even down to the way the character runs with a range of animations, but sadly, the animations themselves transition in a very jarring way making his movement very robotic. facial animations are 'ok', but dont sync well with the voices (heavenly sword this most certainly isnt). platforming felt crap thanks to poor animations and a bad framerate and the combat, well, the less said about that shallow mash fest the better.
just felt very unpolished to me.
never once had a game made me feel sick, but this did. the motion blur is just badly done.
it looked OK in trailer, aside from the luminous textures, but after playing it i just think it's mediocre as hell. might give it a rent, but i'm hardly exited about the prospect of a whole game like the demo. meh
