They should have remade it like Bionic Commando Rearmed and Prince of Persia.
Upgrade the visuals, redo the music and sound and yet keep the classic gameplay attached.

Mega Man 9 will be the hardest Part of the Series, even harder than the old NES-Games! (and some of you know, they're very Hard)


"Mega Man: The Wily Wars" (SEGA Genesis/MEGA DRIVE) and "Mega Man Collection" (Xbox) are in my Collection, 9 is mine! ;)

DavidDC. There is lots of harder games on NES than Megaman games. Hmm like Battletoads, Double Dragon 3, Ninja Gaiden 1-3, TMNT 1 and... Obviously some games are harder to others but those are all quite hard.

Agreed. I just find NES Megaman is a horribly ugly game; there really isn't much I like about visually.

For me this is the best news for new Megaman game. Then again I have completed all the games many many times. I think it looks just the way MM game should look. I know many who think the same as me but then again they are all fans of the earlier games and have hoped something like this would happen.

Btw remake would have been disappointment for me. Those games have been played so many times already that it's good to see some new levels and stuff.

Never played Battletoads on NES (only on SNES) and Double Drragon 3 (but 1 & 2).


Love the "Good old Days" 8 Bit Goodness (Graphics and Sound!), but they do some tuning! ;)
