Great News!
Sadly too many games teach us not to buy any hype (*cough* Watch Dogs *cough*).
GTA V on PS3 was quite convincing, but this time I will wait for reviews rather than pre order.

Had to have been the most obvious announcement at E3 but ill still double dip. I still boot up my 360 for a GTA session fairly regularly so may as well get it for X1. Great that they are providing save imports but its R* so they do look after their fanbase :)

Was that PC or PS4 footage? If PS4: wow. Best graphics yet!
"This trailer was captured on Playstation 4" at the end is a pretty obvious hint.
Still it could be captured at 1fps and then speeded up, it does not need to represent the final quality at all.

It had to happen, didn't it? GTA V already felt next generation to me. It was just above and beyond anything else on last gen systems, although at times you could feel it cracking under the strain, particularly on the PS3 version where the FPS dipped badly at times. It doesn't look at all out of place on the PS4. The amount of traffic and some of the updated effects and visuals overall make it look incredible.

The question is, will this be the full price again for some updated visuals and performance? It should have at least a 30% discount on it.

looks great on PS4! So many traffic and way better graphics

I really enjoyed this game a lot on PS3 already pre-ordered it on PS4.

Because it's a port of a previous generation game, a bit like TLOU and Tomb Raider, plus it's the same game as it is on last gen, which is now a lot cheaper to buy. Let's see...55 quid for the PS4 version which I'm wiling to bet that a LOT of people have already played? They can stick it. TR: definition edition got a lot of stick for doing the exact same thing. GTA should not get a pass on it either.

The frames never drop for me on 360. The lighting still amazes me.

360 version ran noticeably smoother than the PS3 version when I played both of them. I was surprised at how choppy the PS3 version was in comparison.

Tomb Raider was already available on the PC, which was essentially as good as if not better than the "definitive" version, and was widely available for as little as $5. That's not quite the same thing. This is still a new game to quite a lot of people, and prices are set based on demand, not some weird morality play.

Hahaha, yeah....nope!
Anyway the price is too high, It's costs more then TRDE did and I'm not sure what game you guys are looking at when you say It's the most impressive game you seen, it look good but it looks like lastgen with better graphics and 55 pounds is way too much, 39.99 would be better.

I'm glad that I decided to wait instead of buying the 360 version. It was always clear that it would eventually come to next gen and pc. My Ps4 is ready. Just bring it.

Amazing and 10x better looking and more dynamic looking than Watch Dog. No one can beat Rockstar at this type of game.
I am glad I never finished it on 360. I will happily start all over again on PS4 or PC.
I am doubtful the PC port will be good so I will probably get the PS4 version

could be wrong here but i do remember digitalfoundry doing a ps3/360 versus on this game and they concluded both versions were excellent and hardly any differences besides better effects on ps3 or something.

Edit for proof: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-g...

I haven't played the game yet and I'm super excited to buy on PS4. Looks phenomenal
