While we are looking for an eventual video of the game, here are 3 new screens for God of War: Ascension. Sony has also given a release date: March 12 2013. Update: 12 screens added.
Thought it looked dam good but the constant chain noises were starting to get really annoying.
I really liked the new chain noises, was one of the better improvements (outside of the visuals and lighting) in what is an otherwise unchanged game. I hope they stick with the "find a weapon and use it" progression they seemed have going in the demo.
It looks and plays like I expected it to and their presentation is quite predictable now. I actually feel sorry for Sony Santa Monica as it seems their talents are being wasted. Here's hoping they have a second team working on a new next-gen IP.
