The great Game2k managed to find us some good quality version of all the trailers and some of the gameplay that was shown at Microsoft's press conference. So let's start with Gears of War 4 and more 6 minutes of gameplay in quite good quality, along with some screenshots and artworks.

I honestly thought when the main guy turned up he was some generic NPC. I liked the atmosphere they had going, but not very impressed with the character faces.

I agree, textures and graphics wise this game looks more like a badly done upgrade of a old 360 game, not a brand new game made for a new console

Yep, I think the reaction is pretty much universal, this looks almost like a remastered 360 game and I didn't see anything new gameplay wise. Very underwhelmed.

I don't think it's the graphics that are the problem. I think people are just bored of the IP. Epic did a great job with the first 3 games and even before the release of the third, interest was waning for the series. Judgement should have been the sign that people had enough (at least for the short term). I just don't think that the interest is there for the series anymore.

Yeah, it is the same syndrome with God of War. They need to change things up quite drastically. No evidence of them doing that here yet.

Mixed feelings with this one. The atmosphere is really Gears and i really like the moving foliage and all that, looks really cool. But it IS missing that wow factor, that thing that makes you say...HOLY SHIT. I do really like the creature at the end though, looks cool. But this game is 1.5 years away from us and you can see it. It's so very clearly a work in progress. I'd almost bet on it that next E3 this is going to look a lot better. I am missing bumpmapping on the walls, ground, things are just missing here.

You people need to be more specific because I don't see a single texture that looks blurry or pixelated at all. I think it looks sharp and clean and has some real nice shading going on.

It's so dark YA CAN'T SEE SHIT, even in this quality footage.
Why did they have to pick gameplay scenes at night in the first place? You don't have to be smart to know that nobody would recognize anything during the live stream because the stream that i saw was like http://www.technobuffalo.com/wp-content/uploads/20... the whole fucking time.

Really? It does look nice, but I certainly wouldn't put it in the top 5 this E3. I think Halo 5 and the pirates game on just the Xbone looked more impressive. Stuff like Horizon, U4, Battlefield, Dream, etc as well.

I thought this game looked pretty good. And best of all it's on UE4, so that means the game should receive more updates as it moves further to completion.
