PC Xbox 360 PS3

And here comes one more Gamersyde Diaries ! This week, we look back at the Ubisoft's Ubidays with three features on games that are as different from each other as possible: Shaun White Snowboarding, Far Cry 2 (360 version), Tom Clancy's HAWX - and even a little something on Tom Clancy's EndWar's voice command system. A heavy line-up for a Diaries filled with exclusive footage, interviews and our impressions as usual. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to watch the stream since our new player is much bigger and better than the old one !

what I really hate ( I know it's a litlle backwards thinking for the most ) is not having a tiny version (320*240), under 50 Mbs or something like that, of the video.

Actually the old low bandwidth version still exists, it's only visible for people without Flash 9 though. I'll see if I can add a way to manually switch between the two.

very much appreciated, sir.

200+Mbs for the new flash streaming, is a little bit over what I can afford spending of my monthly bandwith on internet videos.
i'm probably not the only one.

I've added a quick and dirty way to switch back to the old stream quality, right under the video window.

HAWX doesn't seem as bad as I initially thought.

The only flying game I've ever really enjoyed though is Crimson Skies. That game deserves a second shot. Too bad FASA went down the hole.

Actually didn't the ex-FASA guys buy the rights to their old games? Am I making this up?

Great vid guys, as is the norm!

supossedly. At the end of the day, it's still rumors, not fact.
Time will tell ... Crimson Skies HD? *drools*

Kinda offtopic but today Firefox 3 was released and I finaly pushed me through making the download because IE had become slower and slower the recent weeks (I never had problems before so I was too lazy to try something new). And by just watching the GSD with the flashplayer made me relize how utterly inferior the IE actually is. With the IE the whole video is shuttering, with Firefoy it's smooth.

Just had to post that because I never thought the diffrence would be that dramatic, shuttering is kinda symptomatic for my PC...

Ohh and to add to the what we should be talking about: HAWX loos REALY good, maybe it'll be my first flight game just for the visuals.

Any chance we'll get a new flight stick with the release of Hawx?

The existing Ace Combat 6 stick I hear will work with the game.

nice show. HawX looks very interesting I agree. And Farcry looks stunning as well. Seems like UBISoft have some solid titles coming. Good for them, and good for us! :)

Hawx gave me a non sexual erection..the evasion view is genius..farcry got fair criticism, (i swear, based on most gaming media, you'd think Killzone 2 was the only game in history with questionable AI )..thanks for the old video player option (by the way, BOO to broadband companies putting a cap on usage!) on behalf of PS3 owners everywhere i say "thank'y kindly".. and the tunage (as usual ) makes me want to crack open the acoustic case..i'd expect nothing less from the place that brought us the great genius of chanson, Serge Gainsbourg (R.I.P.)

..but ..uh..what language was that Farcry dev speaking? Sounded like a mix of English, French, Korean, Icelandic.

Best game-related show I know. Love the atmosphere and analyzing of the games. I'd pay for these :)

First time I'm kind of looking forward to a flying game.
