We managed to get our hands on a high quality version of the latest trailer of Death Stranding that premiered during The Game Awards 2017. Given it's the PSX weekend, it's a good time to share it on Gamersyde for those eager to witness Kojima's weirdness again in good quality.

PS. Considering you guys always posted trailers for Firewatch, is there any chance you guys could reach out to Campo Santo and ask for a high quality - 4k even - version of "In The Valley of Gods" TGA 2017 Announcement Trailer?

The game is absolutely gorgeous and the trailer is amazing.

Already asked and waiting for an answer, after the weekend obviously.

Though it doesn't bode well unless they changed their policy because for the last few trailers of Firewatch, we couldn't share them because their answer at the time was that they'd prefer us to share the embed Youtube video.

I hope they do, because that's one of those trailers that you just need it in as much of a high quality as you can get. If they don't, it will be their loss - and ours, but mostly theirs.

As of now I do not understand the hype of this game at all. Hopefully at E3 they will have gameplay. I hope this turns out great though.

Why would Reedus play Gordon in a game?
I don't care for these trailers. I want to see gameplay. You know, the thing you play.

This isn't even a good story trailer. It's vague as hell. Weird is cool. Confusing is just confusing.

There's nothing to this but presentation.

Kojima knows how to do gameplay though...MGSV was pretty much uniformly praised for its mechanics. It was the open world design and (lack of) story that drew most criticism.

If you read up on what hes been saying the game is about then the trailer isnt just random weird shit. There is some logic to it especially if you combine it with the previous trailers. I think its within the limits of acceptably confusing and seems to be succeding in getting peoples attention. The question is whether the game itself is gonna be vague and weird like this or if this is just for the trailer.

The phantom pain reveal with the whale was all playable on MGSV. Even if it just was one long corridor.

18k bitrate really isn't enough for 4k, the banding is really obvious.

I understand that. But MGSV was not a good game. Fans blame the publisher, I blame the creator.
And except for Zone of the Enders, and Boktai (which wasn't a succes over here), he only produced Metal Gear games. So decades of amazing games is not true.
It's like Gabe: a god to many, a lazy game creator to me.
