looks like they're recycling some of Dante's Inferno assets :)
The first one was great... but too repetitive... And limited variation of monsters and scenario.
Anyhow; Isaac is coming back, that is always good.
Still, I remember Dead Space having great graphics and lighting, so I'm hopeful the sequel will improve them.

Dead Space was awesome-looking. However, I'm not really expecting the sequel to improve upon the graphics. Sure, it'd be nice, but the game doesn't need it.
First one was one of the best games from last year, and this one will surelly be great as well, but these are bad PR images...
I don't see how that matters. If the larger environments still look as good as the smaller environments in the first one, then I'll be happy. I'm just saying..I don't care if the lighting, textures, animation, effects, etc... aren't improved upon. Same way I feel about Batman:AA's sequel(except for better animation/physics on incapacitated enemies).
It matters because larger environments that are populated, need more graphical power to render it they want the same kind of detail they did in the first.
I'm not talking about the behind-the-scenes improvements that will allow the game to look and run the way it does, I'm talking about the actual end result, and for me, the end result doesn't need to look better than the first one.
not sure i like the new suit design tho. i definately pefered the rusty looking thing from the first game. gave it more character.
In first DS all the original suits were pretty much the same, with more plating. In DS2 there will be a whole range of suits, designed for different tasks.
