I do hope this orgy of zombie games slows down though.

I really like zombie games , but i think that the producers are mixing too much zombies with comedy. I really hope this one to be more dark with tense atmosphere , like the olds resident evil , SH , fatal frame and all that scary games. It will be interesting to see how they will manage that in a tropical island instead of a dark old city (which at first is my preference)
This trailer is something else, probably one of the few that made me sad.

Honestly though, I really didn't expect Blmbox's reaction though. He compared me to one of his ex-girlfriends. There weren't any options left to save THAT conversation.
When I was a kid my dad often took me to all day Saturday matinees at the local theater. Alot of these movies were B Horror movies that bordered on knee slapping hilarity. The zombie genre has always been the most amusing to me.
"Dad why are the zombies ALWAYS hungry?"
"They're just makin up for all the meals that they missed when they were alive"
I suppose that's really where it all started. I came to see the zombie as 9% vampire, 92% clown. Not because he's trying to be, but mostly because of what he USED to be. Want to know what an undead Ice Cream man looks like? Complete with the hat and white shoes? How about a construction guy with a hard hat? A doctor with his lab coat or nurse in a candy striper uniform? How about a kid with braces coming to bite a chunk out of your ass?
Incredibly, and if you really think about it, EACH zombie is a story. They were all going about their business when IT happened. There was a couple that was arguing in their car on the way to the grocery store, NOW everyone IN the grocery store in on the menu. There was a construction guy building houses, NOW he's on a permanent lunch break.
The zombie isn't an axe killer, he doesn't have any goals beyond chasing you down and eating you. Take those people in that hotel room in the trailer. You've got the Bellhop, some woman in a bathing suit, some guys wearing the typical tasteless tropical vacation shirts.........gezz.
JMadden, if this is how the world is going to end.........then I'm going to die laughing.
For someone who takes ease in laughing at things which aren't meant to be funny, you're not so aware when it's the other way around.

Also, I've never been compared to an ex-girlfriend, but perhaps worse, I've been compared to a girlfriend. I know the pain. :p
