it doesnt look very special
Dark Void, also known as Unreal Engine 3 Game With Vertical Combat™. Is there really anything more to say? Might be okay. Developer has some pedigree, though not really interested. Release date is a bit weird. Who releases a game in January?
I loved "The Rocketeer" movie back then from Joe J, So really this reminds me a lot of it !

It has that Unreal Engine 3 game appearance. Dull color palette and jaggies everywhere.
The colour pallete is, you may be surprised to hear, not set by the Unreal engine, but by the art team working on the game. It looks exactly as they want it to look.
