Nice CGI though.
That sorta indicates to me that they're just poor screenshots though, and not entirely indicative of what we'll see.
Well people claiming it looks like ps2 game in screens already ate the crow after these streams last day. :D
Double dipping is strong with this one.
Yeah man, it's almost better looking! *sigh*
Vanilla DS2 looks better than vanilla DS1. That's all the matters. If they were so lazy that it didn't look any better, then I might complain a little, but it does. The focus is gameplay and challenge. Most PS2 games, if not all, looked like garbage. They still did just fine in the hearts of many (except for mine). This one will do fine as well, without having to compete with Crysis 3 or Shadowfall for most prettyful game ever

demon souls / dark souls .. its all about game play , if graphics are gonna affect you buying this game , this is not for you

the fact remains the original xbox could have potentially produced graphics similar to these screens just you are not open to the reality of that.

No, the only one looking like a complete retard in this scenario is you for claiming that the original xbox could produce a game even close to the graphical fidelity of Dark Souls 2. And again, i don't think DS2 is that impressive technically, but saying that this: http://screens.latestscreens.com/pc/screenshots/ha...
and this: http://www.cinemablend.com/images/gallery/s62383/D...
looks like it's on the same hardware, or that the hardware that produced the former could also produce the later is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. In the last 7-8 years you have clearly forgotten what games looked like on the original xbox. Now stop embarrassing yourself and stop posting bullshit.
Also it's not coming to next gen consoles, it's coming to 360/PS3 and PC.

the original xbox already produced graphics beyond the fidelity of Dark Souls 2 just it looks more like you are the one forgetting the 6th gens games.
Also the team making Dark Souls 2 is not a big AAA team. This is a smaller niche game, you can't really expect it to have the production values of Tomb Raider or The Last of Us. Again, i'm not syaing it looks amazing, but the Xbox comparison is something you could only say if you are completely technically inept and know nothing about 3d-graphics.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (you better be thanking Sony for helping financing the inital idea) were never about graphics so all this graphics and framerate whining is really lame, it sounds like people who don't really buy brand new games and don't even play them to complete and to build skills.
Specially when the people who DO ACTUALLY BUY and PLAY only talk about their experiences, not whiny sand is coarse and it gets everywhere, everywhere.
And PC??
PC has hardware that cannot be fairly compared...can you use a 2005 and 2006 high end PC to still play these games better than X360 and PS3??
Plus you need to give time and funds to From Software so that they can consider the notion of making a sequel or new versions on the current gen hardware...games still take time and money to make...no use making them if people are not buying hardware.
