Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen has a release date! This new edition includes the base game and additional content. So It will be published on April 26 in Europe and 23 in North America.
They need to fix the damn game, visually and add fast travel anywhere in the game checkpoints.
Those crystals was crap since they just take you BACK to town now anywhere, made the game extremely boring as it was.
Environment never changed which was constant green fields which for a fantasy game, very dissapointing.
Game has alot of issue and if these arent adressed for a sequal if they make it i wont bother with it at all.
i want to get into this game but some unknown force has been keeping me away from a purchase - mostly I hear mixed reviews from friends who have played it (as well as gamers online) ... it's one of those games that you are going to love or hate ...
What exactly does this expansion do for a someone who didn't have the game anyways? I understand you get gems/stones/items if you had the first version but really what does it mean for someone who didn't care to get into it?
There is something awesome about this game and i can't quite explain what. I should hate it due to the endless walking, but i like it, i like that its hard, i like the very demon's souls vibe of it. I like the whole sharable AI element.. I just wish the AI would shut up.

I liked the part AI talk, felt like an actual group than having 3 mules with you.
What i didnt like what they AI did was pick up the most unesseccary bullshit loot from the ground that I had to be forced to go through all 3 partners and start seeing wtf they picked up so i could sell them all, was a big chore.

As far as they probably see it: Make a killing with less the effort = progress.
