Very nice atmosphere, but they havent really showed enough gameplay. But, i did like Bioshock 1 so this is a must for me and hopefully it turns out good (hopefully they have done a better job with the gunplay part of it).

The VGA trailer sold me on this one (pre-ordered it the next day). Gameplay looks awesome.

That was most likely console footage.

Still, it will not look that clean even on PC, unless you use supersampling on high-end hardware. But hopefully we will get detailed textures. I cannot understand why PC versions usually get crappy textures. The originals must look good, and there are no real limits on PC, so everything should always be top-notch. Pop-up, significant aliasing/shimmering and aggressive lod are not acceptable on PC.

I've never really felt all that interested in this. I don't know why. It looks to be a decent game, but none of the trailers really grabbed my interest at all.

Also there is something about the graphics engine which doesn't make it sit right or something, like there isn't any real weight to the world.

oh well.

I thought it was looking weird at best (the reflexions), but the overall art & presentation is very original, just like the first. Really like it.

Video has to be compressed about a billion times more than a couple of high res images. This looks as clean and sharp as Dishonored looks on my PC, but with significantly better assets. PCs can handle AA these days. Crying bullshots is so silly.

Why not? 20GB isn't that crazy for a PC game that actually takes advantage of not being on a 360 disc. The only reason most PC multiplatform games aren't any bigger than 9GB, or whatever it is, is because of the 360's media's size limit. The assets in this look pretty sharp, so 20GB doesn't seem totally outrageous. In about a year, I expect most games will be at least that with next generation consoles moving away from DVD (there's no way the next Xbox can stick to it's current media, even if they stick to DVD they need to be much higher density, they are already starting to have to use two discs on even first party releases. Not to mention games like Lost Odyssey that were like a billion discs on 360.

Thank you for the pics. But is there really no one else who would be having problems watching these bigger than screen size pictures? When I try to watch at the right side of the picture, it changes to next picture (if there is a next picture). If I try to watch at the left side, it changes to previous picture (if there is a previous picture). This has been a problem for some time here at Gamersyde.

Who can watch 1 920px × 1 080px pictures let alone when there are also boarders around? Maybe the problem is my browser (Firefox)?

Click on the mouse scroll on the image and then use the mouse to move around the picture. If that doesnt do anything fancy for you, right click and then I think there is something called "show picture" or something in english (mine is in swedish so thats what its called).

Also, people with 1080p monitors or higher can watch it, mine is 1366x768 on laptop so I just click on scroller and move the mouse around a bit to see the image.

Thanks, Sath. That "Show picture" tip was good. Sometimes I forget that second mouse button and properties that it might have. I have laptop with 1280x800 screen and I don't have that kind of scrolling feature.

Even people with 1080p monitors may have problems watching without resizing because of the boarders. Though F11 may help.

stop being asinine, thats not the point... and the only the reason most pc games fit on a dvd is because they are ports of lowly ps3 games & cia that can't handle better textures, so why waste time making better textures. Only if you ant to fit it with useless 1080p FMV, now those are awesome. (not)

the end.
oh wait, no it's not. There are indeed PC centric games as crysis 2 and Skyrim that have Huge in filesize HD Texture packs, and its obvious when you see it in screens. SO! ... Then why the hell these bullshots look like console bullshots and not from those 20+Gbs of HD tecture data? The textures are terrible.
