Don't blame me. The trailer doesn't make any sense if there are 3 maps. I love BF in any form so I'm glad it's coming.

but the trailers name is "Wake Island", which should have given you a hint that it was just showing one of the maps.

I'm probably going to get this but Dice needs to hurry up and give us BF3 for the pc... Most of the console versions of BF sucked ass...

If they would release all trailers at once it'd be clear. How can anybody know from that one preview there are three maps in that game? If they give the pricing at the end then they should inform about it. People will get wrong impression, just as I did.

It actually looks pretty nice, I like the fairly simple visual look and it probably means that it can have a large amount of action on screen...

Well i once played on wake island only server the map was so good, capture the flag on it was so much fun!

I did a little experiment. I've shown this trailer to six of my friends at work. 4 asked will there only be one map for 14.99. I see this as an error on EA's part.

Heh, I see this as a tester, not only to see if they can release 1943-44-45-46-47 & 48, but also possibly to sway the 5k+ people who play BF42 and the BF42 demo of Wakeisland. Knowing DICE's reputation, plus EA which is a shitstorm of such amazing degree I can't even begin to measure it, it will probably run like trash and they'll release a patch you have to pay for coinciding with the 3 more map DLC pack for another 1200.

These fucks will try anything to squeeze as much dollars as they can from all the dumb 360 kids who buy everything on the marketplace. I wouldn't buy 12 maps for 1200 even if it came with a blow-job from John Riccitiello.

That's exactly why i want this game to fail. This is their test to see if they can make all games like this.

They'll release another 3 maps for $15 and another 3 for $15 and so on. Sure other games like GOW2 release 3 maps for $10 but i'm looking at the content that comes with the game(more value). With BF1943 you pay $15 for 3 maps and $60 for 12 maps(not to mention no disk, manual, case etc.). I guess the trade off is choice for price. However, there would also be an issues of compatability (who you can play with).
