When it comes to pushing the limits of the parody genre, the guys from Rockstar have always been among the best. Once again, they prove their skills by releasing this new trailer of The Ballad of Gay Tony showing what an anime looks like when it is on TV in the world of Grand Theft Auto IV. The last exclusive addition to GTA IV will be available at the end of this week on Xbox Live and also at your local retailer with Episodes from Liberty City, the collection including The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned.

No offense to anyone who actually liked this but by God this has to be the lamest attempt I have ever seen. has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the game.... just what was Rockstar thinking....
And quite frankly, if i is even half as good as the too awesome for words, Republican Space Rangers, then this little anime, will turn out to be one of the best in-game easter eggs of all time.

Got my disk today and have had about an hours play
I am not gonna claim i am the biggest 'know it all' when it comes to Anime, but 90% of anime? Glad i am watching GOOD anime that, like Death Note, Monster, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist. There sure seems to be ALOT of crappy Anime then.

Anime hasn't been like that since the origanl Dragon Ball, goes to show just how out of touch some people are.
Still it made me smile.
It has us talking about it, so imo the advertising succeeded ...

This would've been parody 10 years ago, today it's more like the norm. If you disagree, consider yourself to be the lucky 10% Frozpot has been talking about.
I guess some people only watched 3-4 shows and thought knew exactly what anime is all about... like some people listening to some pop-songs and thinking they knew everything about modern music
