This video actually got me even more excited for the game.

When Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was announced I was in the majority that thought it should be named only "Black Flag" instead of "IV: Black Flag", but after all the videos released it deserves to be a numbered title because the game looks beautiful and very entertaining, almost like a medieval Grand Theft Auto.

Damn, watching that dive and underwater scene made me home sick! :D I admit, they got the underwater really well done - eat your heart out COD ???? (whats the next one again? :p ).

On the douchebag side of things I kind of wanted him to carry the treasure back - I'm just saying .

... and why in blue blazes can we upgrade a leopard :D

Wait I thought the Next gen Console versions of this still weren't going to be 60fps. But here it clearly is :)

Its extremely ugly for a next gen game when the body of the main character doesn't cause any dynamic displacement to the water.
Even if everything else is perfect UBI should feel ashamed just for this.

All of Ubi's games seem to be bleeding into each other.

Just waiting for confirmation on Splinter Assassin Blacklisted by the WatchDogs' Legendary Division.

I think maybe the only thing that bugs me about this game is the character animation. he moves exactly the same in every assassins creed. I guess u can use the excuse that it is the the animus that mimics the stance of its user (desmond), but I think the best part of the original Assasins Creed was these amazing new free running animations. however, the re-use of the same animations for every game after it just made it become a basic gameplay feature you already expect to be in the game, lowering its initial appeal greatly. I guess it would be extremely time consuming for them to come up with an entirely new set of animations, but that really is the only way I will see a Assassins Creed sequel as a true sequel.

these are minor gripes though as I have enjoyed all the Assassins Creed games, and do look forward to this one, just some part of me respects the Assassins Creed series so much that it is a little disappointing that each sequel is only a simple improvement to what originally was something very new and exciting. only thing I really looking forward to is trying out the sailing again, as that was pretty much the only thing that kept me hook to the last game.

mustacio, only altair and ezio move the same way. Connor and Edward move diferently from them and each other. They've been changing the animations a lot.. you should probably pay better attention

The animations may be more of the same but they are of a decent quality/quantity for a 1st wave of next-gen games.
Now.. swimming on the surface of a transparent carpet, that is what i call unacceptable even for a cross-gen game.

I probably will, after I've played every other game I'm anticipating and it drops in price.

The graphics and the setting are stunning!
Were it not for the AC series' terrible gameplay, ludicrous topicality and unrealistic atmosphere I would buy it.
