A bit like the promotional videos of a certain game set in the Far West, Alan Wake is given a special treatment today with this 4 minute video presenting us with the storyline and the different gameplay aspects of the game. In spite of the poor encoding quality on Microsoft's part, it should prove everyone that Remedy's title is indeed a technical marvel and clearly a very atmospheric game with incredible lighting effects. Microsoft also announced that the game will ship a bit sooner than originally expected as it will hit the shelves on May 11 in North America and May 14 in Europe. Make sure you're not out of batteries when it comes.
It's a better story than any of the movies though. Easily. Although that's maybe not saying much. (37 minutes ago)
@b0vril: it's basically a more refined, more fun version of the Arkham games. That's a good reference point for whether you'll like it or not. Liking Spiderman himself obviously helps. (47 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: yeah interesting when people make excuses for that :) (7 Hours ago)
Whilst Spiderman looks like a good game, I can't help but feel like I would get bored pretty quick. I'll probably wait till it's way cheap. (8 Hours ago)
@Seth: spider man is great. Coincidentally continued playing it this weekend and having a blast. (9 Hours ago)
My favorite Call of Duty since COD4. (1 Day ago)
I'd say that it's the only BR I'm interested in playing if Tetris 99 didn't also just surprise drop. (1 Day ago)
