Yeah, those girlies are well done, but don't fit very well to the game concept, do they? Hehehe, I allready see the ennemies bursting by laughing about those grimm and evil fighters *lol* ^^
(hahaha, just read "the Dollmaster, instead of idol.... *lol*)
but don't fit very well to the game concept, do they?
Biggest joke is that this skinpack costs 400 MS points.. What does Namco think? That we are mentally challenged or something? You have to be to pay for this kind of BS in a flight-sim game.. It doesn't make sense, no little girls play games like this, and any male adult gamer liking little anime girls on his planes has issues..
But hey, it's Japanese, so no wonder it's 'weird'..

Really?? :P

Having said that, charging for a copy-paste paint jobs of their other game is simply the MOST pathetic, out of place DLC I have ever seen. (Yes, I also saw the horse armor for Oblivion).
LOL Inlatable don't be so judgemental, if grown men like anime girls it doesn't mean shit, its more to do with liking art than anything.
I don't like uber macho stuff aswell, but this shit is really pushing it the other way, let that be clear..
And Lebato, maybe it's not a sim in terms of gameplay, but to me it looks like a sim in terms of graphics, very realistic.. Having anime pink little girls on your F-117 Stealth Bomber is not very realistic though.. Most pilots wouldn't want to be found dead near a plane like that, let alone be seen flying it, lol!!
Also I agree with Inflatable. Grown dudes digging anime girl art is creepy. Otaku nerds are pretty screwy.
Is it worth $5.00? I guess that is up to the individual. I actually bought one jet due to its extended speed, which was awesome during gameplay. Gave a sense of speed like no other jet in the regular game.
Again, the beauty of downloadable content is you dont have to download it if you dont want to. It is there for those individuals that do though. Not sure why this bugs alot of people. Namco is going to be offering more single player campaigns and co-op missions via downloadable content soon which I cannot wait for. Just be happy they are supporting the game in an aggressive fashion.
Often insane, think Jack Thompson. And regarding the DLC,
the price point is indeed retarded. However, it doesn't matter if they
aren't realistic because it's a Game (that you've probably played alot before
you concider buying more content) and should be treated as such.
You aren't forced to download this anyway.
If someone wants to spice up the game a little with more colorful airplanes
then they are free to do so, I would have done it if it was free.
I'm sure many would find 150 MS points a reasonable price though.
Edit: That's true thextreme1, I still find 400 MS points overpriced though.
Truthfully, I think this content is probably selling fairly well in Japan. It seems to me like it would be great content for multiplayer to kind of seperate your jet from the others. It would be great if they had a skin editor like Forza for this game.
But either way Inflatable is actually the only guy on Gamersyde I have ignored, he seems innocent at first too.
The content is pretty low effort for what you get back. They're skins and they vary the stats on the planes you already have. The cost is very high too, AFAIK it's NOT just 400 points for everything, it's 400 points for ONE Idolmaster skin, and the rest are 200 each.
As much as I'd like to actually play Idolm@ster the game, this is basically a ripoff.
my airplane would look like candy corn or something when I'm done with it. :)
Funny you mentioned ignore, Jigen.
I was actually thinking about making him my first ignore too.
Anyway, are there ever any price reductions on DLC? So far I haven't seen any.
You people are sick, you just love your little murder simulators don't you. If you're not shooting someone's face off or cutting people's balls off you're bombing defenseless citizens from 10 thousand feet and laughing as mothers cry for their lost families. You people disgust me. [/judgmental]
I'm sure it'll help ease your worries. :) I promise you that they don't bite!
I completely agree with you there, thextreme1.
My bad, girlies, I won't be so judgmental anymore.
I really like the new Fiat 500, some people call that a female or gay car too.. I like it though.. No problem having a feminin side, but you can push it to far, and having it in pink with little anime girls on it is pushing it.. ;)

To bad people ignore others just because they disagree with one's opinion.. I don't, and if someone says something stupid here they'll get put in 'boulet time'.. So why stick your head in the sand and ignore?

Most anime fans wouldn't paint their real life car pink with anime girls on it.
Anime is an artform, which can involve both males and females. Males are usually
drawn to female art, while females are drawn to male art. It's very common in
games as well, guys often pick a female character because it's cute.
Same goes for these skins as well, after you've played the game for some time
the airplanes can get a bit boring to watch, so why not trick them out with
something you like? Doesn't necessarily have to be animegirls, but this time it is.
I think it's Very normal, or at least I hope so, to distinguish reality and
games/anime. So I don't really see where the gay part comes in.
Woah, there is a huge difference between a game and real life. I'm sure that

it if you feel it hurts your gaming experience. And even if you were to match up
against someone with it, you'll barely be able to see it anyway, if at all.
So I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
