Huge improvement visually, but the first game was shite gameplay wise tbh. With games like GEARS, I seen little reason for it to even exist. It was just a poor man's GOW. They also need to fix that title. Army Of Two 2? I mean, come on! Take the number off the end and replace it with a subtitle or something.

the game is called army of two : the 40th day...even EA arnt retarded enough to call it army of two 2. LMAO.

i enjoyed the first one more then gears of war personally. it was just a shame all the cool little features where scrapped in the first game...like repelling, flipping cover over, the buggy, and the fork-lift truck section.

this should definately be a lot better tho.

Its not supposed to be like gears though. Sure both have co op but in army of two that's supposed to be a gameplay feature. I haven't tried the game myself. But if they can properly execute that then that could make a really cool game.

Personally, I thought that's what made the first one so awesome.
A little disappointed they've tonned down the cheesyness factor of this one.

I wasn't expecting much when I picked the first game up for budget priced, but I was really surprised. Definitely not as polished or refined as Gears of War, but still a lot of fun, mainly because it was completely designed to work with two players, playing it with a friend was just a blast, unlike other games were the co-op is just an afterthought.

Please dude the above comment is like saying i don,t want to have sex with a hot chick i rather stay a virgin for rest of my life.First of all the demo was a huge turn off for me,the gameplay was utter nonsence the gfx were average.Did not bother buying the game after that.Lets see how this one turns out......

I really enjoyed the first game, but it absolutely must be played co-op with another player to be appreciated. I can understand why people who played it alone would have disliked it.

I really enjoyed army of two, I enjoyed GoW more but still this was a very enjoyable title and I thought it looked great my biggest dissappointment with it was that when I completed it, I had all the weapons etc which killed most the replay for me, if they didnt do that I would of played through that game multiple times.

they need to improve alot of things for number 2. 1st they need to fix the cover system, it isnt fluid enough. 2nd they need to fix the bullet detection, you couldnt hit enemies that were running no matter how accurate you were :? i could go on but i wont. i mean 50 cent blood on the sand had more fluid and enjoyable gameplay

first screens looks pretty good actually, but then the last two looks like from a complete other game (the first). Odd decrease in quality; textures, lighting etc.

Still interested because I do like the premise. I just don't think they nailed it in the first game.

God DAMNIT. He didn't MAKE the fucking game, not even CLOSE. he is ONE GUY. he is the POSTER BOY. I am sorry, but it pisses me off when people act like he made the fucking game. Even if you know it, and you didn't mean that, it pisses me off. Give the other people who worked just as hard, and harder, the credit they deserve.
But yeah. GoW did take a lot of existing things and mash it all together into one package. But they mixed the old so well together, and perfected it all, and it came out as an excellent mixture of the old and the new and the perfected.

But I wish people would stop calling all 3rd person shooters GoW rip offs.

Hopefully this one will do a better job of realizing the potential of this concept.

P.s. In coop it was better than GoW...i played the 1st one with a friend and it was realy fun so if they improve some of the things from the 1st game it wuold be a lot of fun this new chapter...
