but this vid may hae just sparked my interest to get this game, looks a solid game
i was hyped about salvation and bionic commando too and after player the later is awefull, not played salvation but from what i hear its even worse than BC,the reviews put me off buying it,may try it when it goes stupidly cheat preowned as i imagine alot will be returning there copy.
i read completed in 4 hours or less ,alot less if offline co-op.
was really annoyed to find it had offline co-op and not live co-op(major mistake if u ask me)
The real draw to this game is that it is being developed by Airtight Games, the development team from FASA responsible for the oft times, too kick ass for words, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, 1st party Xbox exclusive last-gen.
For any of the 2 million people who played that game, the knowledge that Airtight Games is making a new game, is a far better draw than knowing the guy who scored the music for BSG is scoring the music for a video game. Not knocking Bear McCreary; I love his style and his work. But games are first and foremost about gameplay. And knowing that a AAA developer capable of delivering a AAA game experience, is working on a title, is a far larger draw than on who gets to score the music.
I think if Capcom (as the publisher) would stop bullshitting around and start informing gamers about Dark Voids development lineage, this game would be on a lot more gamer's radars, and the level of confidence from gamers in general, that a AAA experience is likely in the works here, would be much higher.
As there is nothing like knowing that a developer has a proven track record for making great games, to help create positive buzz behind a new IP.
