Director's Cut Batman: AA video

Director's Cut Batman: AA video

Eidos released last week a two minutes walkthrough of Batman: Arkham Asylum, that was very well received. So it looks like they decided they could please even more people with a longer version of that video, now clocking at more than 6 minutes. It sure looks like an interesting game.

i can't wait for this game.

I'm a huge batman fan and i've been dying for a good batman game that is based on the comic world.

This is going to be awesome..finally you get to be THE BATMAN!

looks really cool. I can't wait for the final game either. Finally a game that seems to take batman games to new heights!

Batman with 'splinter cell' like gameplay? I'm in.

This is actually the first comic book inspired game that I'm actually interested in buying. I love the comic characters, but all the games so far have been put together so shoddily..this is just brilliant..can't wait!

Rumours say a demo will be coming out soon for this game, but it's just a rumour at this moment in time so should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Anyway, it looks awesome.

Watching this just makes me pissed off that my 360 died.

Oh god, can they just please make this game look crappy somehow?! 'Cause my Bat sense is tingling! Being a huge Batfanatic, this will have to be Day 1, I love Tenchu and while this looks like Tenchu simplified, it's still got big ups in terms of AI.

Looks awesome! Might be a 1st day purchase for me. I've actually never bought a Batman game, so this will be a first.

I'm not buying it unless they remodel the character to resemble the Adam West version...

Then and only then will I consider it worthy.

Kidding aside, this looks like it might buck the trend of dogpoo Batman titles, finally.

I hope the game can be more difficult than what was demoed.
Also, gargoyles inside the building, like 4 meter apart? It's like they built it for the batman x)

Other than that, this looks like an awesome game. But I'm not buying it before the reviews :)

What's up?
  • blmbox
blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (4 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (4 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (4 Hours ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (5 Hours ago)
