Resident Evil 5 has been released today in Japan, and of course DjMizuhara uploaded some videos of the game (PS3 version) already. He always tells us that he didn't like the demo at all, but actually enjoys the full game quite a bit.
Update: Second video is up, with more to come tomorrow!

Now I've noticed that this is from the PS3 version, so whether this is not a very good capture or there are indeed quite noticeable differences between both versions.
Dj- are there any specific reasons you can mention why you like the full game that much more than the demo?

Perhaps he meant compared to the demo.
Only interested in the single player on this game, I get the feeling Sheva is guna be more of a hinderence than a help.
I heard Japanese version is censored, true?

Anyways, I'm talking about retail versions and once they are massively available you guys will notice there's a noticeable difference between the Xbox 360 version and this one (Once again, if it's not a video coding issue)
As you have said, the opacity and overall dullness in this video (PS3 version) is probably due to video compression. If not, expect quite a fuzz on the internet about the graphical differences between both consoles.
This one to my eye, looks better than MGS4 and Gears of War 2 (Not all the time but it has stellar scenes) I don't mention KZ2 because while RE5 looks miles better in terms of texturing, it doesn't have as much stuff going on as KZ2, at least not in the first level. It'd say however, that the version I've seen (Xbox 360) is up there with KZ2 as the best looking games of the generation so far.

Noticeable difference my friends. Those objective people with both consoles please post your impressions.
This is more likely the result of Sonys BluRay-first policy: put an expensive BD drive in the console and use a cheap GPU to lower costs.

It's the reason I've pre-ordered the 360 version, although I may pick up the PC version too as I expect that will be the best version of all if Lost Planet and Devil May Cry 4 are anything to go by. Both those games run terrific on my PC at resolutions and with high AA that the consoles can only dream about.
