Dj- are there any specific reasons you can mention why you like the full game that much more than the demo?
I was wondering why the game doesn't look as good as what I've seen on my TV yesterday.

How did you get the game this early?
Perhaps he meant compared to the demo.
Only interested in the single player on this game, I get the feeling Sheva is guna be more of a hinderence than a help.
I heard Japanese version is censored, true?

Anyways, I'm talking about retail versions and once they are massively available you guys will notice there's a noticeable difference between the Xbox 360 version and this one (Once again, if it's not a video coding issue)
The lower quality is mostly related to compression. If you look at this demo comparison, you'll see that the PS3 demo does look a bit worse then the X360 version, but not as bad as these videos (because of compression).
As you have said, the opacity and overall dullness in this video (PS3 version) is probably due to video compression. If not, expect quite a fuzz on the internet about the graphical differences between both consoles.
This one to my eye, looks better than MGS4 and Gears of War 2 (Not all the time but it has stellar scenes) I don't mention KZ2 because while RE5 looks miles better in terms of texturing, it doesn't have as much stuff going on as KZ2, at least not in the first level. It'd say however, that the version I've seen (Xbox 360) is up there with KZ2 as the best looking games of the generation so far.
Yep, Capcom and their Xbox360-first policy. The demo on the PS3 was a chugging pain in the ass, and visually buggy to boot. I wasn't getting it in the first place but it warrants the bitching.
You really think it needs a cover system? There's usually not too many enemies that are firing projectiles at you in these games. I'd rather he had a good roll or evade move and some more intense and effective hand to hand combat moves. After seeing moves like the curbstomp in Gears of War, it looked so weak when Chris stomps on a downed enemy.

Noticeable difference my friends. Those objective people with both consoles please post your impressions.

This is more likely the result of Sonys BluRay-first policy: put an expensive BD drive in the console and use a cheap GPU to lower costs.
Yes i think a cover system for resident evil would add to the experience a great deal. Theres hardly ever anybody firing at you in resident evil games true. Instead you have "infected" crawling, running, at you..climbing over cover. I can easily imagine the next resident evil having you take cover to try and avoid the infected, having the infected arms grab at you as you hide behind a fliped over table and then allow you to use that table as a ram to push them all back. I'd put money on cover, and the enviroment surroundings, playing a much bigger part in resident evil 6.

RSX is'nt any less cheap than Xenos its just less well designed.
Since you seem interested in the issue: there should be a detailed comparison on DigitalFoudry in a few days, a reliable and unbiased site.
Xbox360-first policy? AFAIK Capcom had MORE programmers working on the PS3 version of the MT Framework engine (the engine used by Dead Rising, Lost Planet, DMC4 and RE5) and therefore their policy should be rather called PS3-first.

It's the reason I've pre-ordered the 360 version, although I may pick up the PC version too as I expect that will be the best version of all if Lost Planet and Devil May Cry 4 are anything to go by. Both those games run terrific on my PC at resolutions and with high AA that the consoles can only dream about.
