I don´t like the re-design of the old sprites... I hate this style.

Yeh you either love or hate Udon's style. From the screen shots I didn't like it it was too Alpha like, but since playing the beta a few months the artwork has really grown on me. If you saw the original HD art you would of been really horrified, Capcom actually sacked the Koren art team before hiring Udon, they had no idea about basic human anatomy.

Game is finished it in MS and Sony's hands now.
These screens look great, M. Bison and Balrog look awesome.

You can watch the game in motion here latest footage from SFClub - http://www.gamemanx.com/street-fighter/street-figh...

I dunno, the scale looks all wrong for me, the background chars are the same size if not bigger than the fighters. Plus the background is considerably higher quality than the sprites used for the fighters. I've seen the SF2 comics and the style in those is great, you can even see some of the style in the char pics beside the health bars but the sprites themselves just dont capture it. Chun-Li doesnt even come close to matchin her poitrait.
I've been saving MS points since this was announced but i was kinda hoping the fighters would be a little more crisp than this...

it looks so good in pictures but in motion you realize nothing has changed in all those years, because they are still using the same old animations ...

.. and yes, I know that that's to please their hardcore fans, who played it for years and therefore time their attacks by animation frames, but as someone who played this game "casually", I can only think of this as a shame

Video footage from GameSpot Event Tournament Part 2 of 6
http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/showcase/index.php?sh...

Video is choppy the game runs at 60fps so its much smoother when you see it with your own eyes!

Part 2 is actually pretty good, Graham completely destroys his opponent at the end with Balrog. Commentator still talk like they know what they are saying. Quote of last week was about Throwing your opponent off his game by picking green..
This week its two guys pick Sagat, they look Thai, maybe that influenced their decision...

I think that this stlye is in keeping with the upcoming SF4 and it doesn`t look too bad to be honest. I actually really like the new angle but I don`t suppose it`ll make me play any better rofl.

"Damn you Dragon-Punch" !!!! lol
