Eidos just released the third video in their "Beneath the surface" series for Tomb Raider: Underworld. This one is named "What Could Lara Do", and shows more of what Lara actually can do in this game.

To be fair, I personally find that's the case with most games unless they happen to have a strong online component

Umm... dunno the textures seem blurry to me... Hope Deus Ex 3(using the same engine) will look better.

"She'll be able to shoot at 2 different creatures at the same time." You mean like the very first Tomb Raider? Lol! This does look cool though.

To be on the fair side of things, I don't think people weigh there purchasing decision on whether a game of this type has a strong online component. As great as Xbox Live is, there's only a hand full of games that take advantage of online play as far as multiplayer and co-op go ( if that's what you're referring to ). Right now it just seems like the only thing that devs can come up with to utilize Live is online multiplayer matches for FPS. There's so much more you can do with it that most devs are too stupid to even look into. RPG games like World of Warcraft don't even scratch the surface of what a rpg game could actually do with online play. Fable 2 seems to be moving closer in direction of change, but there's so much more potential. Sometimes I just like to be emerged into an involving game by myself and use my imagination. Back in the day my brothers and I would pass the controller around until one of us succeeds further into the game. Those were the good ole days when just watching a game felt entertaining.

I was just saying that for the most part, I don't even consider buying games that are SP only...especially with how most SP games can be beaten in ~10 hours nowadays. That doesn't mean I won't buy SP only games. For all intents and purposes, I personally feel that Fable 2 is only a SP game(I don't play on playing it coop), but I'm still going to buy it.

This game seems like it'll be a rental only.

SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (3 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (5 Hours ago)
