That said, I don't think a deep/complex story would make the game all that better. It's just a bit of glue to keep things together and that's fine by me. I don't always need whole books worth of character/universe data to keep me entertained ala Mass Effect. Sometimes I just want to kick ass, watch some SHORT cheesy, but cool, cutscenes and get right back to the action.
Not making up excuses for the game's shortcomings, it's just the way I see it.

It's like hollywood , you get a lot of explosions, nice special effects , a boob or three and it's called a blockbuster .Cheesy ... YES ; nice to watch ... YES .
So GoW2 will be nice 2 play nothing more nothing less .
And YES i'm HYPED : )
Hope this delivers.
Visually it looks very nice, though I'm still not a UE3 fan.
Though there's no doubt this game is very important for MS and I hope everyone who enjoyed the previous game (and I guess multiplayer was a big part of that) enjoys this one :)
I can't wait to kick some Locust ass this November!
fonejacker is next on E4 :) yippee
As for GOTY, I think it will come down to GoW 2 and Fallout 3 (MP vs SP). Kinda hard to pick one.
