wow.. who'd of thought it would be possible. Seems to be all in there.. just at a much lower resolution. Great game too.. they've obviously sorted out the legal problems if they're bringing it to the wii.. so hopefully we'll see a sequal on the 360 very soon!

Just in case anyone was thinking that this game would contain less zombies, just remember what State of Emergency 1 and 2 did last gen.

It kinda turns you off when the graphics are so bad. If we had the same horsepower as 360 it would sell even more.

great game, bit very hard at times.

considering 360 is like 10x more powerful... if they add multiplayer or more places outside the mall, it'd be a nice tease for a real sequel.

It's not just a low res, the textures seem to be a bit worse BUT the lighting lost much, which was the main aspect that made the 360 version look good...
The cutscenes are obviously prerendered 360 stuff, because they look just the same and I highly doubt the Wii could handle them in realtime.

There is like night to day diference between the cutscenes and in-game images.
360 CG Video, are they?

Of course we shouldn't expect the game to look like it's (superior) 360 counterpart. But if we want to compare the two versions with each other, the wii shouldn't be excused for it's weak graphics. That's the whole point isn't it? Nintendo made a conscious decision when they chose to use current gen(NOW last gen) hardware and they shouldn't get a "get out of jail, free" card for it...

Of course it should be excused, because you shouldn't be comparing them in the first place, I mean seriously !!
Nintendo chose to put its RnD elsewhere, now whether you agreed with their choice is neither here nor there, but comparing the two is like comparing a frog to a tadpole.

Now I ask you, if the motion sensitive controls can be used as an argument for being superior, why can't the same thing be said for advanced graphics and physics? As you've mentioned, Nintendo chose to put it's RnD in controls, and Microsoft did the same for advanced hardware(resulting in better graphics). Both of these decissions should be respected and in turn they should not be excused when comparing (the same) games.
My point is this: If people suggest that Dead Rising will be better on the Wii for it's motion sensitive controls, Microsoft isn't excused for NOT having motion sensitive controls, but when people suggest(like me) that Dead Rising on the 360 is better because of it's superior graphics/physics, Nintendo automatically gets a "get out of jail, free" card for it's inferior graphics. Because if you look at it: Nintendo chose for innovative controls and inferior graphics, and MS chose for superior graphics and traditional controls so if we WANT to compare the different Dead Rising versions we SHOULDN'T excuse any of the companies choices...

oh you habladores de ingles what are you thinking about?
the wii version is going to be so much better because of its game play that
will feature motion sensitive controls( a new way to play video games).
the wii gives us an unimaginable experience with each game, thanks to its
innovative control.

yes but then you wouldnt compare cod4 on the DS with cod 4 on the 360 would you and be surprised that one looked better than the other. You compare products that are on an even keel.. otherwise its always a one horse race. This is ofcourse in relation to visuals.. which is all we've seen of the game so far. Comparing playability, in how they control, its ofcourse much fairer game.

You should just should just stop making yourself look foolish over pointing out something that was never even questioned (as ofcourse it will look better on a more powerful hardware), and wait to see just how capcom make use of nintendo's unique controls to either add to the gameplay, or mess up the gameplay.

It's absolutely cheap to say "comparing control(motion sensing vs traditional) is much fairer game" who the fuck decided THAT universal rule? And of course you don't compare the DS with the 360 because they're not in the same MARKET. You're actually downplaying the wii by saying that it's in another league because it's just as much of a competitor in the console market as Ps3 and 360.

Actually the reason why the wii's winning the console wars this generation, and why microsoft and sony are starting to adjust their own marketing and developement, is because the wii has a different market to the 360 and ps3.
Also... did you or did you not say that Dead rising on the 360 was better because it has superior graphics? It is better visualy (which was never argued) but the better game? This was the only point in your waffling stupidity i picked you up on.. cause frankly its a foolish statement about a game you've only seen a few dodgy screen shots of and have no idea how it plays on the wii.
Now begone with your stupity!

Understand that for the wii this isnt bad graphics, you keep comparing the products of different hardware when theres a huge game in the power between that hardware.. which is why i said you wouldnt compare a game on the ds and the same game on the 360 and be surprised one looked better than the other. Dead rising looks to be playing to the wii's strengths, so in terms of that its pretty impressive if they pull it off. The 360 doesnt get the same treatment if a game has bad graphics but innovative controls (although which games on the 360 even relate to that?) because so much more is expected of the 360 visually, and a game coming to it looking like the screen shots above we would all know wasnt playing to the 360's strengths.
You can go now, as i'm bored with you.
