Xbox 360 PS3

Ubisoft led slip three images and some artworks of Prince of Persia: Prodigy - the name is not confirmed at all, but it's the last thing we heard. Hopefully we'll be able to give the game a try at E3.

Something about the new art style makes me think JRPG. Not necessarily a bad thing but I wouldn't have expected it from Ubi.

We're not even getting an RPG, I bet it's the same (good thing) as the games before this one. But the name sounds good. Hehe.

Hopefully the focus stays on platforming and I wish the Prince didn't look so "Caucasian" also.

I hate characters in flipflops instead of shoes or boots.
And Why doesn't Elika have any shoes or something :S

Anyways, looks cool, but it depends how well it looks in motion, gameplay.

But this is a title I am definitely keeping my eyes on.

Nothing much new... But it still looks good, except the border lines are a little too strong...

haha sure they had shoes, curved ont he top of it by the toes :P
Thats like the classic middle eastern shoe/boots I can think of.

But seriously, Elika doesn't have anything on her feet and Prince has flipflops...beach party, weird design if you ask me.

Maybe the weather was too hot at Ubisoft when the designer started drawing them haha.

You know there are like, millions (well, tens of thousands, at least.. rural villages and stuff.. not city folk) of people in the Middle East that still don't wear shoes? Granted, she looks pretty well dressed / privileged, so I'm sure she could afford a pare of sandals.

This is a new PoP trilogy. And they chose a new style for it.

In the previous POP games (especially the third one) the Prince had much cooler design.

Anyways, I hope Ubisoft doesn't show the game behind close doors, if so, someone needs to leak it, I am desperate to see the game in gameplay motion.

They are sandals not "flip-flops" and in those days if they wore shoes at all that's what they wore.

I think the art design is much stronger here than in the last Trilogy which was fine and it did the job but it was very generic.

Gotta be honest. I didn't like ANYTHING about the earlier POP games, well, except maybe that one chick that was practically naked... but this one has definitely grabbed my interest. New art style, new gameplay, loving it all.

New gameplay? How do you figure?

Or at least how is it new enough to go from not liking "ANYTHING" about the earlier POP games to "loving it?"

Well from what I read in GI it looks like they're changing a lot of things around and improving everything that needed work. Last POP I played was WW and that game felt clunky as hell, and looked very ugly. I don't get that sense with this one based on what I've read and seen. We'll see though

Did you ever play Sands of Time? I really picture this game having platforming akin to that found in SoT as it was superb.

When is this really game coming out? I have a strong feeling it's not going to make its 2008 deadline.

Amazing art style, I like it. The game looks like it is made by Japanese which just a good thing. I might grab this one. I haven't played Prince of Persia games since the first ( on SNES ).
